Prayer For Prudence
Thank You for the clarity to see how hatred kills relationships. I choose, instead, the way of love. Love protects. Help me to protect those I love by loving them. Your way is always best, Father. I pray in Jesus' Name, Amen.
O God, perfect us in love, that we may conquer all selfishness and hatred of others. Fill our hearts with Thy joy, and shed abroad in them Thy peace which passeth understanding; that so those murmurings and disputing to which we are too prone may be overcome. Make us long-suffering and gentle, and thus subdue our hastiness and angry tempers, and grant that we may bring forth the blessed fruits of the Spirit, To Thy praise and glory, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
I think stupidity is our own worst enemy. Pray for God to bless us with wisdom, knowledge, insight, understanding, and the ability to discern. May we have clarity in all things. Amen
Make me a person of prudence, my God:
Help me to practice good judgement
and act responsibly:
by learning,
by preparing,
by listening,
and making good choices
with peace and joy in my heart.
I make this prayer in Jesus' name.
Amen.
Give us the knowledge and prudence which will enable us to live our life well.
Teach us to know our own weaknesses that we may ever be on our guard against them.
Teach us to know our own strengths that we may use, to the full, the gifts and talents which you have given us.
Help us to share a loving concern for each other at all times.
Above all, Lord, help us to really know you, for this is the beginning and end of all wisdom, this is eternal life.
Amen
Holy Spirit, who with the Father and the Son in the beginning hovered over the deep and formless void to give it shape, and breathed the breath of life into humanity and every living creature, come now from Heaven, come now from your throne of glory. Be with me and help me; work with me []
Jesus, artful Master of Parables,
Your prudence eluded the hypocrites.
Your actions were known before creation,
Displaying all the wisdom of Your prudence.
Eternity must have attended to minutia.
Being prudent in Your best interest,
You considered all potential consequences,
Securing the outcome of Your earthly life.
Grant me the prudence to always be cautious
And sensitive to the basic needs of others.
Jesus, You have shown great foresight,
Prudence truly originates from Your Being.
