Prayer For New Baby
Guard and protect, guide and provide for each innocent little baby and protect their the hearts and minds from a society that has grown far from the God Who created them and sent His Son to die, so that they might life. This we ask in Jesus' name,
Amen.
As this little bundle of joy starts to grow and develop, give me wisdom to teach and train, to correct and to encourage. May I be both fair and wise, and combine a balance between correction and encouragement. Guide our little family unit in the ways of peace I pray, and thank You my heavenly Father for the wonderful blessing that has come from You. In Jesus' name,
Amen.
Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Your Name. Lord, I know that children are a blessing from You and for this we thank You that (parents names) have been given this great opportunity to become new parents. Father, I ask that they seek Your face and obey Your Word while under pressure. Grant them courage each and every day and I pray that they will point their child to Your commands, in Jesus Name, Amen.
Thank You for loving us in such a way it sits beyond our human understanding. You love our children in the same way, more than we ever couldthough our hearts seem to burst into another level of love as soon as we know they are in womb, let alone cradled in our arms. You will pursue us and our children, always. Help us to find you, daily and teach our kids how to find you, too.
Sleep, my babe, lie still and slumber,
All through the night
Guardian angels God will lend thee,
All through the night
Soft and drowsy hours are creeping,
Hill and vale in slumber sleeping,
Mother dear her watch is keeping,

God, please give my baby all that is required for a good way of life and for a good way of living.
Please let this child bring joy and pride to me and my family. I will give all that is needed to this child. And help me to do my best to guard and protect my baby for his/her lifetime.
God, it's hard to believe that I was once just like this little baby. There has been so much wear and tear on my body and spirit, but I was once innocent and sweet like this child. Lord, I pray this baby doesn't experience all the heartache that I have, and instead see your goodness everywhere. Amen.
God, I pray strongly that the power, love, and guidance of the Holy Spirit follows this baby all their days. May they always be wrapped up in You and Your love. For if this happens, their life will be amazing. Thank you God for this child and for Your love. Amen.
