Prayer For Faith And Trust In God

Jesus, King of Kings, You say that the righteous man will live by faith. Mold me in Your image and fill my heart with faith in You. Guide my actions so that I can live by faith and have a life in You, abundantly and eternally. Cleanse my thoughts of impurities, dear God. Keep my eyes fixed on You and You alone. Help me be steadfast in my trust in You and Your Scriptures so that I can live right in Your holy sight. Amen.

Precious Jesus, in You and through faith in You, I may approach You with freedom and confidence! Jesus, I thank You for allowing me to do so, even though I am unworthy and undeserving of Your presence. Thank You for allowing me to come to God. Thank You for always hearing the cries of my heart. Show me how to be as faithful to You as You have been to me. I trust You with all my heart, soul and mind. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Almighty Son of God, You are the great I AM. You are faithful to Your promises and will defeat my enemies, though numerous and powerful. I will not be discouraged because I walk in your divine presence. I will live in Your strength and courage, for You are my God. I have faith in You and Your word because I know that Your word never fails. I thank You for the many promises You have spoken over my life, and I place my trust in You. Amen.

All-Powerful Father, I bow before You because You are awesome and worthy of all the praise. Your word declares that I can do all things through You who strengthens me! I put all my trust in You. You alone are my God. You alone are my joy. You are my heart and my soul. You are the grass under my feet and the sky above. You are seen and unseen, Father. Keep me at Your right hand forever, fill me with Your grace, and make me Yours all the days of my life. Amen.

Jesus, my Savior, You came down to earth to save me and told me to have faith in You. You said that with faith I can even say to the mountain, Go, throw yourself into the sea, and it will be done. My mind knows that if I believe, trust and have faith in You, I will receive whatever I ask for in Your holy name. I believe in You, Jesus. I believe that You are Lord. You are the God Most High. You are the Creator of Heaven and Earth. Erase my doubt, Jesus. Take it all away. Help my unbelief. I deliver myself into Your righteous hands. Amen.

Father, Miracle-Worker, I put my trust and my faith in You because I know that nothing is impossible with You. Just as You told Sarah about the coming birth of Isaac, I know You will make a way when there is no way. You raised Lazarus from the dead. You made the dry bones have flesh again and then made breath enter them. Father, You look out for Your people, and for that, I praise You. You are the same God today as You were then. I believe in the power of Your hand. I believe in Your intervention. My mind has silenced the critics. I cannot hear the non-believers. All I hear is You, my Father. What harm can come to me when I walk with You? Amen.

Father God, I have never seen a more critical time in my business career than I have witnessed over the past few months. There seem to be more and more people facing financial hardship and little businesses are finding themselves in a position that the door on an established family businesses that has been seen many generations come and go are increasingly having to close their doors. Lord, though sadness fills my heart when I witness so many people in this devastating position, whatever the reason for this economic failure, I am trusting in You and You alone.
Words fail me Father, but what a blessing to be able to pray through the prayer that Habakkuk the prophet brought before You, so many centuries ago, and yet the words seem to be so relevant to the difficulties that so many are facing today;
"My heart is pounding and my lips quiver, decay creeps into my bones, and my legs tremble at what is happening. Yet I will wait patiently for the Lord. Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls. Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Saviour. The Sovereign Lord is my strength."
Praise Your holy name!
Amen.

Father, as we recall the steadfast faith and hope in God that so many of the great cloud of witnesses displayed in Hebrews chapter eleven and elsewhere, we pray that we too may follow their example and place our entire faith in Your precious Word. May we develop an ever deepening trust in You, knowing that Your Word is faithful and true. May we be nourished by the Word of God day by day and be refreshed with rivers of living water that stream into our hearts from above, so that whatsoever we do will be pleasing to the Lord and glorify His name.
Thank You that in Christ, we have been forgiven of all our sins and delivered from the power of sin in our lives. May we pass on a trust in the Lord Jesus to our children and children's children, so that in the next generations a living trust in God may be their witness to the world and faith in His Word may be a testimony that will also pass on to all their children.
Keep us standing firm in truth of God's Word that has been delivered to us by our Father in heaven, and keep us steadfast and true to all that we have learned of Your grace and mercy. May our lives demonstrate an ever deepening love for You, until that glorious day when we are taken to be with You in heaven. This we pray in Jesus' name,
Amen.
