Prayer For Faithfulness

Dear Heavenly Father, as I come before you with my heart heavy, I ask for Your help. I lack hope, Lord and pray that You grant me Your eternal hope. Without You, I am nothing, Lord. Without You, I cannot face these obstacles alone. I am at the end of my rope and I need You to carry me, to lift me in your arms and restore my faith and hope, Lord. Bring me the strength I need to survive and to carry on Your will. I acknowledge that this is not something I can do without You. I trust in you, Lord, and Your will is mine. Amen.

Father, thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness in my life. I trust that You are leading me into a new land, a spacious land filled with blessing and opportunity. I choose to stand and keep my eyes on You as You lead me forward in Your purposes in Jesus' name. Amen.

O Lord, I pray for the grace and the strength
to remain faithful to your teachings
and to the sacramental life of the Church.
Help me to persevere in the commitments
and promises I have made to you.
Give me the fortitude to live up to the vocation
I received in my baptism,
to the duties derived from my confirmation in the Spirit,
and to the graces received in the other sacraments.

Help me to place love of God and service to Him
before all else
and help me to bring selfless love
to my brothers and sisters in Christ.

Amen.

Dear heavenly Father, this is one of those days in which there's nothing really grumble-worthy going on in my life. Though I'm sure I could muster up plenty of things to complain about, those things would quickly lose their size and impact, when held up along side of the riches of the gospel. My heart is filled with thanksgiving and praise-offering today, and I want to take time to tell you why, as I pray though King David's grace-list.

Father, thank you for forgiving all of my sins, through the work of Jesus. May I never take that miracle of grace and generosity for granted. And may this rich standing in grace compel me to greater forbearance, patience and forgiveness towards others.

Father, thank you for healing all my diseases, brokenness, weaknesses. Though the fullness of my healing will require the 2nd coming of Jesus, nonetheless, you are presently healing me spiritually and emotionally, mentally and physically. One Day I, along with all your children, will be completely whole and free. I've never longed for that Day more!

Father, thank you for not only pulling me up out of all kinds of pitsthose of my own choosing and other's doing, but also for crowning me with your love and compassion. I'm no longer a slave to sin and death, and now, I'm a member of your priestly and kingly peoplewho reign in life through grace, as we love and serve others. What a privilege!

Father, thank you for satisfying my desires with good things. What do I have that I have not received from you? Absolutely nothing. Thank you for intending my pleasure and for resourcing my delights. You've not only given me your lovewhich is better than life; you've also given me so many good things, which greatly enhance life in this broken world.

Things to eat and see, smell and savor, touch and share; things to make me laugh and people to dry my tears; things to sing about and things to quietly ponder. Though my body is getting older, you are continually giving me a youthful, renewed heart, for which I praise and worship you. So very Amen I pray, in Jesus' exalted and caring name.

Lord Jesus,

Teach us to be the servants you have called us to be. Help us to walk in humility, and to stand firm in our faith no matter how difficult the road becomes. Thank you that because of you we will only ever know the shadow of death- death will never have victory over our lives! Thank you for your steadfast love and faithfulness to my family and me. In Your Name we pray,

Amen.

Father, please do not let me make empty promises to you, but help me to honor you with my promises. Please forgive me of all unredeemed vows. I repent today, and I will immediately redeem all the pledges that I have made to you in the past. After I redeem my pledges, let my delayed blessings be released. Henceforth, let me satisfy you with pleasant offerings, and let my gifts gladdens your heart towards me so that I can prosper in the land of the living. For in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.

Amen.

Dear Lord, how best can I serve you, and how can I offer an acceptable sacrifice to you? I have realized that you cannot be deceived with a dishonored gift no matter how significant it appears! Please help me to serve you without ulterior motives. Let me be sincere with my gifts, and let them come from a pure heart. Let my sacrifices of thanksgiving satisfy you, and enable me to maintain consistent services to you, so that I can be qualified to receive your blessings. For in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.

Amen.

Heavenly Father, You are our only Supplier and Supply and it is upon You that we rely entirely. We are living in a difficult world, in a society that is facing increasingly precarious economic difficulties. The money for which we work is becoming sawdust in our pockets and the prices of the simple basics of life are escalating out of control, and Lord we have no one but You upon whom to rely and we are trusting You for our provision today.
Lord, we believe Your Word is true and that You have promised to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory. Thank You for the amazing example of the Israelites in the wilderness, who received sufficient manna for the day as a promise from You, and Lord we believe and know that Your promises are no less true today than they were in those distant days gone by.
Help us to walk by faith and not to be swayed by the mountainous problems that surround us on every side. Help us to live by faith and not by sight, and trust You to provide sufficient provision for our daily need. Help us to read Your Word and reckon it to be true and not to doubt Your promises. Help us to trust You entirely in these increasingly precarious times and look to You with childlike trust, knowing that You are our Supplier and Supply. We ask this in Jesus' name,
Amen.
