Prayer For Faithful

That all people with disability, their families and support workers, will know Your tender love expressed through the support of a welcoming community.

We pray to the Lord.

We pray that young people may find a joyful faith in their families and encouragement to respond to a life of ministry and service.

We pray for a sincerity of heart, a firmness of hope, and a purity of intention in our lives and in the life of the world.

Show us how to serve one another, to offer love, care and support.
Lord in your mercy.
Hear our prayer.

Help us to be understanding and forgiving of all those we encounter.
Lord in your mercy.
Hear our prayer.

For an end to the violence perpetrated by harsh words, deadly weapons, or cold indifference. May our homes, our nation, and countries around the world become havens of peace, let us pray to the Lord.

For the grace to see every human being as a child of God, regardless of race, language or culture, let us pray to the Lord.

For the wisdom to receive the stories and experiences of those different from ourselves and to respond with respect, let us pray to the Lord.

For the strength to teach our children how to resolve differences non-violently and respectfully, and the courage to model it in our own behavior, let us pray to the Lord.

For our faith community, that we may celebrate and welcome the diverse faces of Christ in our worship, our ministries, and our leaders, let us pray to the Lord.

For our faith community, that we may respond boldly to the Holy Spirit's call to act together to end violence and racism, let us pray to the Lord.

For healing and justice for all those who have experienced violence and racism, let us pray to the Lord.

For the protection of all police and first responders who risk their lives daily to ensure our safety; for fair and just policing that will promote peace and wellbeing in all our neighborhoods, let us pray to the Lord.

For our public officials, that they will strive to work for fair education, adequate housing, and equal opportunities for employment for all, let us pray to the Lord.

For our parish, that we may cultivate welcome, extend hospitality, and encourage the participation of people of all cultures, ethnicities and backgrounds, let us pray to the Lord.

For the courage to have difficult conversations about racism, and for a better appreciation of how our words and actions or even our silence can impact our communities, let us pray to the Lord.

For solidarity in our global human family, that we may work together to protect those who are most vulnerable and most in need, let us pray to the Lord.

Heavenly Father, You alone are worthy of all worship and praise and I ask that the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart may be honoring and pleasing to You throughout this day, for You are a great and a faithful God.
Thank You that in Christ, I can come before Your throne of grace wherever I am and no matter what time it is, for in Him I can offer my prayers and supplications to You. What a blessing to know that Christ laid down His life for me, so that in Him I can lay my life before You, in holiness and righteousness all my days.
Lord, I want to be the person You would have me be and I thank You that Your faithfulness is new every morning. As I step out into this new day I ask that I am enabled through Christ to live out the events of my day, in a way that is acceptable to You.
Thank You for the many faithful and true promises that You have given to me and to each of Your children. Guide me into all truth today, and may I walk in the way of righteousness to Your praise and glory. In Jesus name I pray,

Dear Heavenly Father, I do trust You, but at times I wonder if my faith in You is sufficient. Praise God that my hope does not reply on my sufficiency but on Yours. My hope of eternal life in heaven with You does not depend on my righteousness or good works, but on You and on Your everlasting faithfulness, Your omnipotent strength and Your finished work of Calvary's cross.
What I wonderful God You are, and I am beginning to understand what it means that I must nor rely on my own strength, for my strength will fail, but I am to rely on Your everlasting Strength and Your eternal faithfulness to finish the good work that You started in me the moment that I trusted You as Saviour.
Help me to abide in You and to trust in the promises that You have given to all Your children in the Bible, for Your Word is truth and cannot be broken. Oh thank You, Lord, that You chose to save all who trust in Jesus Christ, and have promised that even if my faith grows weak or fails, You will not forsake me, but have promised to remain faithful to finish the good work that You have started in me. Thank You Father,
