Prayer For The One You Love
God, I want to lift up my friends and family who have not yet seen their need for a savior because they do not see their own sin. Open their eyes to the hurt they cause you and others. Open their hearts to the depth of their need for saving. May they see that there is no one righteous, not even one. Remove the scales from their eyes so they can see clearly. Amen
Dear Lord, I pray for your help and guidance to restore the relationship that has just ended. He/she is the love of my life and my dear friend. The relationship ended so badly, and we are not speaking to each other at the moment. Even though he/she did many wrongs to me, I chose to forgive him/her. I pray that you may let his/her heart forgive what I did to him/her. Amen
Blessed Lord, You know that I have a special interest in someone who loves You deeply and has good character. So far, this person has a fondness for me as a friend, but, if You are willing, Father, please open this person's eyes to see me as more. May this person in whom I'm interested be attracted to me in a romantic way, and may we develop a relationship that honors You. Amen.
O God, my Provider, I pray that You will guide me into an enduring, passionate, healthy, and committed life-long relationship. Protect me from relationships that will bring harm or heartbreak. Help me to not be so giddy with excitement when I meet someone new that I overlook important details about that person which need to be brought to light Lead me to that special person who is the one You know is best for me. Amen.
Father, I know it is Your will that we should lead a loving and peaceful life with one another. Hear me, dear god, to fill us both with more love and to understand each other better to bring unity to our relationship. Help me become more understand to my partner's needs and feelings.Grant me wisdom that I may know how to deal with this unlikely situation so I can build a house in Your glory. In Jesus' name I pray, O Lord. Amen.
Dear Lord, I pray deeply that you grant my man an excellent spirit of leadership. Let him continue to excel in the wisdom to lead his life and those around him. Help him build a singleness of character and help him maintain focus oh Lord. Empower him in the skills of divine leadership and help lead a selfless life of service towards You Lord and his fellow man. Let him excel in humility and lowliness of heart and give him the discipline, grace and strength to foster godly relationships in the home, community and in the house of the Lord.
Dear Father, I earnestly pray that you set the heart of man on the path to genuine love for You and for me. Teach him how to love me unconditionally and without wavering just like You have loved the Church oh Lord. Direct his heart towards that which is Just, Holy and Pure and do not allow any uncleanliness in his way. Teach him to continue in godliness and divine purpose and take away any thoughts of evil from his heart. Please Lord, give him a heart that acknowledges you as the Master and Lord and be his shield and sufficiency at all times oh Lord.
Dear God,
Thank you for your great love and blessing over our lives. Thank you that your favor has no end, but it lasts for our entire lifetime. Forgive us for sometimes forgetting that you are intimately acquainted with all of our ways, that you know what concerns us, and you cover us, as with a shield. We ask for your guidance so that we might walk fully in your blessing and goodness today. We ask that your face would shine on us. That you would open the right doors for our lives and for our loved ones, that you would close the wrong doors and protect us from those we need to walk away from. Establish the work of our hands and bring to fulfillment all that you have given us to do in these days. We pray that you would make our way purposeful and our footsteps firm out of your goodness and love. Give us a heart of wisdom to hear your voice, and make us strong by your huge favor and grace.
