Prayer For The Nation Scriptures
Our Father and our God, Thou hast said, Blessed is that nation whose God is the Lord. We recognize on this historic occasion that we are a nation under God. We thank Thee for this torch of faith handed to us by our forefathers. May we never let it be extinguished. Thou alone hast given us our prosperity, our freedom and our power. This faith in God is our heritage and our foundation!
Lord, you rule in the kingdoms of mortals. The earth and everything it belongs to you. We are only but stewards of the things that you have granted us, including this nation. Lord God Almighty, let there be calmness in this nation. Sudden terrors are causing us to be filled with anxiety. Lord, help us to focus our gaze on your Son, Jesus, and not on what is happening all around us. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
Dear God, a nation that honors you is blessed. Lord, as we come before you to honor your holy name as a nation, we ask you humbly to prosper our economy, families, and relationships with other countries. Open up financial doors so that we can thrive in our economy. Help our leaders to engage in business relationships with the right nations. Let them also engage in treaties that align with your word and will. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Father, you are Lord over our beautiful nation. Nothing that happens in this country escapes you or catches you by surprise. That is why I am here today to ask you to protect us from all the evil plans of the enemy. Lord, by the authority you have given us, we declare and decree that places, where drug trafficking, prostitution, and other kinds of immoral activities are happening, are shutting down. Take charge, O Lord, and let your glory fill those places. In the name of Jesus, we believe and pray, Amen.
Father God, we ask you to please give us peace within our borders that we may live peaceful lives and be productive as a nation. Our safety as a nation cannot be based only on the army and other law enforcement officers that we have. Help us to settle disputes that we have with other nations. Lord, cause any country that is planning to destroy us to fail. War on our behalf and disorganize their evil plans. Give our nation rest on every side. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
King of glory, cause our nation to arise and shine. Help us to see the light in dark places and to turn bad things that are causing us to fail as a nation into things that glorify your name. Let your glory Lord rise upon us that other nations may know that you are a true living God, and it's only you that we trust. In Jesus' name, we believe and pray, Amen.
Gracious Father, I know that the prosperity of the nation does not start with others, but it starts with me. Help me to do the right things according to your plans and ways that will cause other people in this nation to prosper. Guide every person that belongs to this nation to be productive in everything that we do and to work as unto you and not men so that we can cause our country to prosper. May we always remember to bless your name, for you're the only one who causes us to thrive. In Jesus' name, we believe and pray, Amen.
Father God, so many things are going wrong in our nation because we have turned from you, and we are doing things that are against your word. We used to revere your name as a nation, but now all we do is worship idols inform of celebrities, the internet, and riches. But Lord, your word says that if we humble ourselves as a nation and seek your face, you will hear from heaven, forgive our sins and heal our land. Father God, act upon your word. Forgive us all our sins, for we have sinned greatly against you. Heal our nation from pain, immorality, fear, and depression. Help us to become great again. In Jesus' name, we believe and pray, Amen.
