Prayer For Petition
You, my powerful patron, intercede for me before the throne of God.
Draw near to His throne and do not leave until you have been heard.
O Good Saint, to you I address my fervent prayers; graciously accept them and let me experience in some way the effects of your powerful intercession. Amen.
Almighty and loving Father, I thank you for giving St. Gerard to us as a great role model and powerful friend.
Through his example, he has shown us how to love and trust You.
You shower many blessings on those who call upon his assistance.
For Your greater glory and my welfare, please grant me the favours which I now ask in his name.

Father, I praise You for humor. It's one of my favorite things about You! I love to laugh with You. Forgive us for taking all the best things about humor and making them dark with sin. We ask you to bless us, let us enjoy laughter, but not at another's expense. Guide our words and motives, and let the way we talk to and around others honor You, always. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the privilege of coming boldly to Your throne of grace in the Name of Jesus, my Savior and Lord. According to Your Word I am making my requests known to You knowing that You already know what I need.
Father, I ask that You renew my strength so that I can wait patiently upon You. I ask that my ears and eyes are opened that I might see, hear, know and understand Your Word so that I can walk in obedience to Your commands, and share with others. I ask You to make me alert, awake and attentive in Your thoughts and ways, so that I'm not easily deceived by the enemy. I ask that you help me to be disciplined and a good steward over all that You've entrusted to me for my consumption, to bless others and Kingdom purpose. Above all, Father, I ask that my family (name them) would receive Your Son, Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord; that they completely surrender their lives to Him in full assurance of the atoning blood that He shed on the cross. Thank you, Father, for the privilege of prayer. I pray with thanksgiving, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
Father in heaven, I thank you for your countless favors to me today and in all my past. I am grateful for the silent inspirations of your Holy Spirit and the assistance He lends my human weakness and instability. I know my prayers and petitions are present before you, and rely confidently on your granting my requests in your powerful and far-seeing goodness. I ask above all for the special favor of remaining ever faithful to the teachings of your only Son, Jesus Christ, who lives and rules with you in union with the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for all the ages to come. Amen.
Father in heaven, I turn to you with praise, love and thankfulness for all your goodness. Fully aware of my own weakness and past infidelity, I implore your gracious help in my present need. With full faith in your unfailing mercy and kindness I ask your aid, Father Almighty, in the name of your only Son, our Lord Jesus. I rely completely on His promises and the powerful aid of the blessed Virgin Mary, His Mother and ours. Amen
St. Therese please help me as I deal with significant problems at work. Please pray for my boss and coworkers that we can deal with the difficulties in a reasonable and peaceful manner. Please pray for our continuing physical, emotional and spiritual health as we deal with these challenging times. Amen.
St. Therese, beloved friend, we come before you in our need. We believe that you listen to us and approach God for and with us. Please accept these petitions, hopes, needs, and dreams I list below. Please present them to our Loving Father so that God may do what is best for us, for our loved ones, and for the fulfillment of God's Kingdom. We ask you, dear friend, with the bold confidence and loving surrender you taught us. We make these prayerful petitions in the name of Jesus and through the power of His Spirit.
