Prayer For New Job Offer
Please show me how to take care of myself mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually so I will be able to maintain a good balance between work and life. Help me to unplug at home. Help me get a good night's sleep. Give me quality time with loving, positive and encouraging people. Give me spiritual refreshment.
I claim the Scripture that says, May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us. (Psalm 90 :17 NIV)
May I endeavor to live out the Scripture that says, Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as if working for the Lord, not for men. (Colossians 3:23 NIV)
Amen.
Dear God,
As I start on my new job I thank you for giving me this opportunity. I am thankful that my employer had enough confidence to choose me for the job and I pray I will fulfill and exceed their expectations.
As I learn the ropes of my new job, give me the patience and perseverance I need. Help me to catch on quickly. Show me how to best apply my skills, education and experience.
Give me the wisdom to know when I should ask for help or when I should try and figure things out on my own. Help me to seek the advice of others and profit from it. Guide me to any special training that might benefit me.
Show me how to make a good impression on my new boss and co-workers. Help me portray a friendly, courteous manner. Make me a good listener. Help me show my willingness to work hard and get the job done.
Father, I am giving this completely to You, and whatever Your decision is, I will thank You because You are loving, gracious and generous even in poverty. Amen.
Lord, Please have mercy on me, I know I have made some mistakes, but the punishment of job loss does not fit my transgressions. Please allow me through your grace to keep doing your work in my current profession. Please forgive me and save me. In Christ's name I pray. Amen
Lord jesus help me im in deep trouble. I was currently working as a tehsildar in lahore.but now the seniors are against me just becoz i am christian.they are not allowing me to sit in my office.lord help me to get my job back.
May Colossians 3:23-24 be true of me. That I may follow the command, Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
Lead me to live a life like that of Colossians 3:17. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. I long to do all things for You. In the areas that I am not joyfully submitted to You, bring me into new revelation and understanding that leads me to Your goodness and truth.
Please bring a positive encounter and response after the interview. However, use this time for much more than a job. Use this time to bring Your Kingdom to earth. Use me as Your vessel of truth and light. Open up the right doors and conversations so that I may make an impact. Bring this impact through Your Spirit and not through my own good intentions or actions. Only through Your Spirit Lord.
Bring life where there was once death. Bring life into this area of my life where there has been a struggle. Help me to maintain a steady job that provides for my needs and the needs of my family. Help me also to provide for the spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, and relational needs of those around me.
Lord, you promised that when I seek You with all our heart, I will find You.
I seek only after You.
Still my troubled heart.
Calm my wayward mind.
I seek only after You.
I'm never going to be able to figure this out on my own,
And right now I'm leaning heavily on You.
I seek only after You.
I give you all the anxieties and fears I feel inside
I release them all to You
I seek only after You.
I open up my life
So that it becomes like an open book before You
May You write in it Your words of inspiration and direction.
Still my troubled heart.
Calm my wayward mind.
I seek only after You.
I await Your voice.
