Prayer For Negative Person
God, Your Word says there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set [me] free (Romans 8:1, NIV). I agree with Your Word and so release all the shame I have felt because of the lies I've believed about myself. I choose to believe what You say about me and not what others saynot even what I have said about myself. I accept that I am Your work of art, created in Christ Jesus to do good works (Ephesians 2:10, NIV) and trust You to help me, moment by moment, to live in that reality.
Lord God, I release ______ into your care. You know all my love and concern for (him/her). I know that You share that love and concern, so I release (him/her) into Your hands. Help me to find healthy and helpful ways to love and care and pray for (him/her), even as I learn to trust You to see all I cannot see and do what I cannot do.
Almighty God, whose Son had nowhere to lay his head: Grant that those who live alone may not be lonely in their solitude, but that, following in his steps, they may find fulfillment in loving you and their neighbors; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
God our Father, you see your children growing up in an unsteady and confusing world: Show them that your ways give more life than the ways of the world, and that following you is better than chasing after selfish goals. Help them to take failure, not as a measure of their worth, but as a chance for a new start. Give them strength to hold their faith in you, and to keep alive their joy in your creation; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Father God in the name of Jesus, I come before you right now to lift up [name the negative person]. Lord I know you see all things and I ask that you come and see about this unfortunate situation. It's wearing me down to be in the same space with constant negativity. This person speaks against my dreams, doubts my desires and it is very difficult to handle. Now God, can you step into an out-of-control challenge? Work through whatever issue is in them, and then God, if it's me, move me out of my own way. I thank you for your grace, mercy and favor. I thank you for working out my flaws and making me into the woman that you have called me to be. Help me to stay positive. Help me to become more optimistic. Thank you for showing me who I don't want to be. Thank you for clarifying who I need to be and how I can be a better encourager of others. Lord, send me light in the way of good people who see the best in me and want the best for me. Send me positive, like-minded people. Help me to resolve this issue between the pessimist in my house, circle, or family. Begin the pruning process right now. Get rid of every dead thing that means me no good. Your word says, Bad company corrupts good character. So Lord, I ask that you remove all of those who are against me. Release into my life right now a seasoned mentor\rolemodel\coach\sponsor\covering that would genuinely build me up and support me. Then, show me how to pay it forward. In Jesus' Name. Amen
Holy God. You are full of mercy and compassion, slow to anger and full of love. No one can measure Your greatness. You open your hand to satisfy the needs of everyone.
You protected Daniel in the lion's den. You provided an ark before the flood. You create streams in deserts. No situation is too dire for You. Everything is possible because You are the Creator and Redeemer.
You love imperfect people extravagantly. Your perfect love drives out fear.
You are mighty to save!
May every trial we go through in this life bring us closer to You. Our prayer today is for our enemies, our conspirators, and our foes. We are all imperfect, and You love us all equally. Help us to leave justice at Your feet, seeking peace and the Spirit's sensitivity before lifting the gate on our emotions.
Protect our hearts from bitterness and suspicions, comparison and insecurity. Teach us to be confident in You, alone. Right our hearts to place You at the helm. Bless our minds to run to You for solutions to problems that put our backs up against walls. Help us to resist gossip and slander, blame and unnecessary attacks on the character of others.
Our purpose on this earth is to help others. Whether we struggle to part with our money, or have trouble accepting God's generous blessing, help us to be laser-focused on our conversation with You. When we look around to compare our finances with others, it will always cause our hearts unrest. We don't have the privilege of knowing people inside and out and from the moment of their creation like You do. We assume wealthy equals satisfied. But only Christ holds the key to all happiness.
