Prayer For My Wife Today
Holy Spirit, make known to her the reality of who her Father is, and who she is in Him. Lord, thank you that she is precious, pursued, honored, dearly loved, wanted and cherished by you. I declare that she is a child of the light. Remind her that she is your daughter and she is of royalty and nothing and no one can prove differently. (Galatians 4:4-7)
Lord, I ask that
You would help me live an ethically distinctive life, both in public and private.
I would practice the discipline of craftsmanship in my field, working with all my heart as if You were my employer, client, or customerbecause You are.
I would pursue what I am gifted to do, finding delight and joy in the work You created and gifted me to do, as well as the work I must do for which I am not gifted.
I would be intentional about my spiritual influence, being a wise, winsome witness in my place of work.
others would see the reality of Your presence in my life and be attracted to You.
Dear Lord, when my wife is in the midst of a tumult of worries, fear, and sadness, remind her as quickly as possible that You are with her. She can never go anywhere where You can't find her. In her mountain top, excited moments, You are there. In her desert wanderings, You are there. You are even there in her lowest, most distressed states. She may not always feel it, but she knows You are with her. Help me be just the right person at just the right time to help her to stand when she is under pressure. And always remind her of Your immense love which was depicted on that cross. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Marvellous God, it is your will that your children enjoy a healthy life, free from recurrent afflictions. Therefore, I pray at this moment for my wife who is suffering from untold pains. I declare that she has been made whole by the power in your promise of a pain-free life. Amen.
His Eternal Excellency, you do outstanding things for your pleasure. I ask that you take away the pain on my wife's chest caused by an inexplicable syndrome. We don't care about the cause; all we are concerned about is that you can heal her within the shortest period of time. Amen.
Lord, I come to you with this petition because I know that you have made me one flesh with my spouse and you have said that no man should come between us (Matthew 19:6).
So I take authority over every outside influence that is polluting our marriage. Every foreign power that's manipulating this marriage is dealt a heavy blow in Jesus name.
Let her words and her thoughts please You (Ps 19:14). Let her encourage the weary or misguided ones with Your words (Isa 50:4). Open her mouth in godly wisdom and faithful instruction (Pro 31:26). Open many doors for her to share the good news of Jesus. May she make the most of every opportunity as Your ambassador (2 Cor 5:20). May her words always be gracious, so that she may know how to answer everyone (Col 4:3-6). Let her words be an expression of the love, grace, and humility of Jesus (Col 3:17). Set a guard over her mouth (Ps 141:3). Remind her to say only what is wholesome and helpful for building others up according to their needs (Eph 4:29). I pray that we will talk to each other much about You (Eph 5:19).
Glory be to You, God, who by Your mighty power at work in us is able to do far more than we dare to ask or even dream of, far beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes. May You receive all the glory in our lives (Eph 3:20-21). In Jesus' name, Amen.
