Prayer For My Pastor Family
Merciful God, you provide a variety of gifts to your people in your church that, working together, we may glorify you and serve one another. We thank you for the talents and abilities that you have given to your people who work as police officers. We ask that you would bless them as they use those gifts for the benefit of others. May we all draw on the breath of life that you provide, that we may work together for the good of your body. We praise you that you provide everything we need for life and godliness. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Lord Jesus Christ, thank you that your plans are to prosper us not to harm us. We pray for the success and prosperity of our pastor's as they work and we ask that you would protect them from harm. Give them endurance in their work and encouragement that their service is vital for the safety of our communities. May we join with all the saints throughout history in declaring your wisdom, love and power. Your salvation is the joyful news that fills our hearts. In your mighty name, Amen.
Lord Jesus Christ, thank you that there is nowhere we can go that is beyond your presence. We pray for our pastors today that they would know that you are with them as they work in our community. Give them calm minds and peaceful hearts as they deal with the challenges they face in their work. We ask that you would lead them on the path of righteousness and that they would live as children of the light. You are the everlasting king and you invite us to abide in you until you return to usher in your perfect kingdom. In your mighty name, Amen.
Generous Father, thank you that your word always accomplishes your purposes. We pray for our pastor's family, that they would abide in you and be fruitful in their work. We thank you for providing them to work for our safety. In the danger that they face, we ask that you would provide protection and safety. May they absorb your word into their hearts and work with honesty and love for those whom they serve. To you be glory and honor, forever and ever. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Father, these precious and brave families make sacrifices few understand. Fill their homes with love, peace, joy, grace, and closeness because they support a pastorr even at their own sacrifice.
Lord, every officer also has a close work-family bond. They're a team who have each other's backs and depend on one another for support, encouragement, skill, and camaraderie in facing the challenges of the job.
Lord, bring unity and synergy to these men and women as they guard each other's lives while working together to keep the streets of their communities safe and free of crime.

Help them to be continually alert, and to keep on praying for all the saints (Eph. 6:10-18). Don't let the devil establish a foothold in any area of their lives (Eph. 4:27). Help them to have a good reputation with outsiders, so that they will not fall into disgrace and into the devil's trap (1 Tim. 3:7). May they continually submit themselves to You, Father, and may they be self-controlled and alert in order to resist the devil, standing firm in the faith, so that the devil will flee (Jas. 4:7; 1 Pet. 5:8-9). Keep them from temptation and deliver them from the evil one, Lord (Matt. 6:13).
Dear Lord,
I come to you today interceding for my pastor's family. I know there will be many important decisions that must be made, many words that must be chosen carefully, many needs that must be answered. It's a day that the
pastor can't handle with only human abilities. The pastor's family needs Your wisdom and Your guidance. Only You know what today will bring, and only You know what the demands will be. Meet them, oh Lord, and give the pastor's
family just what is needed, just when it's needed. I'm thanking you, in Jesus' name.
Lord, we confess that Your favorsurrounds them like a shield. We confess that they will earn, save, spend and invest money in obedience to Your perfect plan for their lives and families. We declare that their finances are blessed and they are lenders, not borrowers. Lord, because we realize that the food we put in our bodies can impact our mental, emotional, physical and spiritual capabilities, we declare that our men will practice healthy eating practices. Above all, we confess that they are victorious in everything they do, because Your future for them is filled with hope, good and not evil.
