Prayer For My Pastor On His Birthday
Deepen we pray, the bonds of fellowship within the body of Christ and may our hearts be knit together in love in Christ Jesus. Forgive us for the times when our fleshly natures have broken or damaged the precious relationships we have with each other in Christ, and keep us we pray, walking in love, knowing that we are a spiritual house joined together as one in Him.
Lord, Thank you for our pastor. I thank You, O God, my Savior, that You faithfully answer my prayers in such an awesome way. My Creator, You formed the mountains with Your power, and I trust You to care for these worries and cares that are stealing my peace. You quieted the raging oceans, and now I ask You to quiet my mind. I pray in the Name of Jesus, the Bread of Life, Amen.
Mighty God, thank you that you are the light of the world providing perfect guidance to our lives. We pray that you would bring your light into the work of our pastor's and give them guidance and direction as they carry out their work. When they face difficult decisions in the heat of the moment we ask that you would fill them with your Holy Spirit that they may act wisdom and care. We praise you as our Savior and Lord, our Conqueror and our King. Your blood has redeemed us and lifted us up into your presence. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
On your special day today, our prayers and wishes is that Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. Happy birthday pastor.
Happy birthday pastor, you've been a wonderful person to me and to the church at large and you've taught us that every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. We are hoping our little birthday wishes would make you have a lovely day and let you know how much we love you.
Heavenly Father, help our pastor(s) to be strong in Your mighty power. May they continually remember to clothe themselves with Your armor so that they can take their stand against the devil's schemes. Help them to remember that their struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, authorities, and powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Help them to stand their ground and to stand firm with the belt of truth buckled around their waists, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with their feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the Gospel of peace. In addition, help them to daily take up the shield of faith so that they can extinguish all of the flaming arrows of the evil one. May they put on the helmet of salvation and use the sword of the Spirit, Your Word. Give them the desire to pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.
Dear Father in Heaven, I pray that You will provide good and godly friends for my pastor. Friendships that will allow him to just be himself and will allow him to be held accountable as a brother in Christ. God he needs time away from the ministry to enjoy the fruit of his labor, I pray that You will provide good friends that will be his for a lifetime so that he may dwell together with them in unity. I pray that he is able to talk about the things of the Lord and that they may be able to encourage each other on how to remain faithful, committed and loving men of God. I pray these things by the power of Jesus name, Amen.
Dear God, I want to lift my pastor (leader) up to you in prayer. He needs Your wisdom and direction for Your church. Please keep him humble and always relying upon You to give him the perfect wisdom and direction that he needs. Help him to consider information offered by others and also to come to You in prayer as he evaluates things. Remind him of Your servant Solomon who when he was to become king prayed only for Your wisdom and because of his humility You granted even more than wisdom. I pray this in Jesus name, Amen
