Prayer For Group Meeting
Everlasting Father, we give thanks to you today, we bless your name together. You alone are good and your steadfast love endures forever. Your faithfulness endures from generation to generation. As we gather together today fill our minds and our mouths with praise to you. Guard our thoughts and our hearts that we may glorify you in every aspect of our lives. You are the name above all other names, the king above all other kings. Blessing and glory, wisdom and thanksgiving, honor, and power and strength, be unto you our God forever and ever. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Mighty God, thank you that you hear and answer our prayers. Hear our prayer and be in the midst of our meeting today. Thank you that your presence calms the troubled sea of life and speaks peace to our souls. Give us clear minds and peaceful hearts as we gather together. According to your abundant mercy, you have caused us to be born again into a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. May we live in the light of your salvation, experiencing the freedom that is ours in you. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Heavenly Father, thank you that you are the source of all true joy in life. Help us to find our joy in you. May your voice sound clearly above all others as we leave this place. May your peace be in our hearts, your grace be in our words, your love be in our hands and your joy be in our souls. May your love surround us, your Spirit guide us, your voice cheer us, your peace calm us, your shield protect us, your wisdom arm us, wherever you may lead me. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Everlasting Father, thank you that you are our strength and our song, you fill our hearts with joy. As we meet together, may we give thanks to you with our whole hearts as we recount all of your wonderful deeds. Let our hearts be glad as we exalt your name. Inhabit our praises, today Lord. Let us rejoice that neither death or life, angels or rulers, things present or future, height or depth, or anything else in all creation, can separate us from your love. Gracious Father, we thank you for the opportunity to meet together today. As we leave this place, surround us with your love. May we see your beauty, feel your love, know your wisdom and experience your power. May we find the comfort we desire in you and the strength we need in your name. May your presence be with us every hour of the day. May your love be the passion in our hearts. May your joy be our strength when times are hard. May your presence be the peace that overflows in our lives. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Faithful Father, we thank you for hearing our prayers, feeding us with your word, and encouraging us as we have gathered together. Take our lives and use us to love and serve you, and all people, in the power of your Spirit and in the name of your Son. We are created by your power, redeemed by your love and strengthened by your Spirit. We give ourselves into your service, may we love you and love others with all our hearts. Almighty God, you graciously hear all our prayers and you promise that when two or three agree together in your name you will grant their requests. Fulfill our desires and prayers, and make all things work together for our good. Increase our knowledge of your truth, and our experience of your love. You are able to keep us from stumbling and to present us blameless before the presence of your glory with great joy. To you, our God, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Heavenly Father, we praise you for your goodness and generosity. We trust you for faithfully preserving us through good times and bad. We serve you with all that we have. We glorify you in our plans and activities. We speak of you to others in response to your great love for us. We live for you, in every thought, word and deed, by the power of your Spirit. You are the God of endurance and encouragement. Help us to live in harmony with each other, that together we may with one voice glorify Jesus Christ. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
