Prayer For Growth And Development
Creator God, who breathed the cosmos into existence, you included us in your Garden and declared your creation to be whole and very good. As we take this masterpiece for granted, we have disobeyed your call to care for your world. Help us to realize and repent for our sins, and TAKE URGENT ACTION TO COMBAT CLIMATE CHANGE AND ITS IMPACTS to reconcile ourselves to you.
O Lord, who made the sea and all that is in it, help us to understand the importance of all that is below the surface, and its connection to all that is above. May our actions to CONSERVE AND SUSTAINABLY USE THE OCEANS, SEAS, AND MARINE RESOURCES FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT reflect a desire to appreciate all your works.
O Lord, grant me to greet the coming day in peace, help me in all things to rely upon your holy will. In every hour of the day reveal your will to me. Bless my dealings with all who surround me. Teach me to treat all that comes to throughout the day with peace of soul and with firm conviction that your will governs all. In all my deeds and words, guide my thoughts and feelings. In unforeseen events, let me not forget that all are sent by you. Teach me to act firmly and wisely, without embittering and embarrassing others. Give me strength to bear the fatigue of the coming day with all that it shall bring. Direct my will, teach me to pray. And you, yourself, pray in me. Amen.
O God, perfect us in love, that we may conquer all selfishness and hatred of others; fill our hearts with Thy joy, and shed abroad in them Thy peace which passeth understanding; that so those murmurings and disputings to which we are too prone may be overcome. Make us long-suffering and gentle, and thus subdue our hastiness and angry tempers, and grant that we may bring forth the blessed fruits of the Spirit, to Thy praise and glory, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
God grant me the serenity ?to accept the things I cannotchange; ?courage to change the things I can; ?and wisdom to know thedifference.
Living one day at a time; enjoying one moment at a time; ?acceptinghardships as the pathway to peace; ?taking, as He did, this sinfulworld? as it is, not as I would have it; ?trusting that He will makeall things right?
if I surrender to His will; ?that I may be reasonablyhappy in this life ?and supremely happy. with Him? Forever in thenext.? Amen.
O God, You are my God! I want to be your disciple, so I read Your Word and pray for understanding to apply what I read. I ask, Holy Spirit, that You would put a deep, abiding hunger in our hearts now, for more of the Scripture and for more of close encounters with the Father!
Lord, we have found this world to be a confusing, messed up place and we don't want to be it's next victim! So, with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, we turn to You, asking that you be our daily guide through the Bible so that each day we live is used to honor and glorify You before others. We will do our best to honor the appointment with You in prayer, each day, keeping it above all others.
We love You Lord, and desire Your Presence within, to heal us and prepare us for Your use in this world and for our future with You in heaven! AMEN!
Thank you, Lord, that you promised what we ask for we will receive, what we seek we will find, and when we knock the door will be opened. We pray that you would open doors for our ministries and provide us opportunities for success in your work. In Jesus' name. Amen.
Thank you, Lord, that the harvest is plentiful. We pray that you would send out laborers into your harvest. In Jesus' name. Amen.
