Prayer For Graduates
Dear Lord, thank You for being my eternal rock! You have kept me in perfect peace whilst I have kept my mind fixated on You during the completion of my studies. Father this journey has taught me to trust in You forever because You are with me forever. I glorify Your name and understand that the next chapter of my life is in Your hands. So Lord, let the gates of my life be opened; this I ask Amen.
Good and gracious God,
This is the day, Lord! Let us rejoice and be glad in it!
Today is the culmination of years of work, years filled with challenges and triumphs, losses and laughter, friendships and growth.
We thank you, Lord, for getting us safely to this day.
We thank you for the gift of family, friends and teachers who have supported these children of yours and celebrate with them now.
Dear God, bless these graduates, every one, and fill them with the Spirit of your love.
We pray that as they go forth to set the world on fire, may they remember you are in all things and all people.
May they continue to challenge themselves intellectually and share the fruit of their knowledge.
May their commitment to justice lead them to make a positive difference in our world.
May they build community wherever they go and remain forever the important part of our community that they are today.
And may they, through their ongoing growth in wisdom and grace, bring others to you as they share their talents in the wider world.
We ask you, who are both Father and Mother, to protect and guide these Men and Women for Others throughout their lives.
We ask this in the name of your son Jesus, who unites us with one another and with you forever.
Amen.
Oh Lord my God, it is You who stood by me and gave me the strength I needed to be able to graduate; for that I am grateful. I do not know what will happen in the future, but I declare and seek peace over my life because my future rests in Your loving hands. Lord thank You that in the difficult times of my studies, I cried out to You and You heard me. Thank You for caring enough to know, direct and guide the plans for my life, Amen.
Heavenly Father, I am in awe of where You have brought me from. At times during my studies I was ready to give up, but I knew I could trust in You to help me see it through. Just as You raised up Moses and Aaron, I thank You for raising me up in the area of academic studies. Father, I stand still in appreciation of the great things that You have done before my eyes! I thank You for helping me graduate, Amen.
Dear Lord, thank You for helping me graduate! I can celebrate this achievement in peace as it is You who knows where I am going and it is You who has tested me so that I can grow into the person You have called me to be. Wherever, you direct me Lord, my feet will hold fast to Your steps I will keep Your way and not turn aside. Lord, this journey has been intense, but Father I thank You for refining me through it, Amen.
Dear Lord, I believe that this completion of my studies is only the beginning of my great journey. I declare that You who Has began a good work in me is faithful to complete it. With You Lord I expect to grow and not remain stagnant or content because You are a God who wants only the best for me. I put my hope and confidence in You Lord, Amen.
Dear Father, because of You I am a graduate. I thank You! I also give you all the glory, honor and praise for being the reason that I can soar on wings like eagles and achieve significant merits. It is by Your grace and mercy that I have not fainted nor become weary, but You have kept me in your perfect strength. So, Lord, I bless You because in my weakness you gave power and increased my strength; I bless You Lord, Amen.
Oh Lord my God, how Holy and magnificent is Your Name in all the earth. I praise Your Name for counselling and instructing me at all time, even in the night during those hours of studying. I have not been shaken because You have been my ultimate focus. It is because of You have been at my right hand, that has caused me not to move. Therefore, I am grateful and secure in knowing that I will never be abandoned by You. I declare success in my future so long as I am guided by You, Amen.
