Prayer For Graduating Seniors
Loving God,
You love your children and sustain them through wildernesses of the body, mind, and spirit.
You have carried your children through this chapter of their education and you bring them to a new chapter and we thank you and honor you for their achievements and your blessings on their hard work.
Even now as you carry us all through the wilderness of a pandemic, you have given us a reminder that new beginnings are happening in our midst and this gives us hope.
Thank you for their example of dedication and persistence through difficult circumstances.
May we provide the love and encouragement of a supportive community as they embark on a new phase of life, wherever life may take them.
May they feel celebrated and cheered on by their families and communities, even though the traditional rites of passage and ceremonies have been taken from them.
May they have the courage and the freedom to grow and change and spread their wings with full knowledge that they are loved and supported every step of the way.
May you give them wisdom to make good choices and may they know they are loved unconditionally even when they don't make the right ones.
When they fall, help us to pick them up with grace. When they fly, help us to cheer them on with enthusiasm. And when they leave the nest, help us to trust in you for their continued protection and guidance.

"Father God, we thank you for these graduating students. We pray that you will give them direction, purpose, and perseverance as they enter the next phrase of their lives. Give them clearness of mind to move forward into the plans and purposes that You have for them. May these young people gain wisdom from You and have discernment for proper behavior. Raise up Christian mentors for these graduates so they have someone who holds them accountable for their actions. We pray that they will rise above ungodly behaviors and have the boldness to stand up for what is right wherever they work, study, or socialize. Give them wisdom to spend their time and money wisely. Grant them success for their efforts at every turn and guide their feet to follow Your ways. May they be eager to do good and not evil all the days of their lives. Use them in might ways, Dear Father. In Jesus name, amen.
Dear Lord, keep Your loving hands on him as he begins a new journey so far away. Guide him with all decisions, show him Your ways, and never let him get too busy for You. Keep him strong in Your word, always let him know how proud of him I am, and remind him daily that he is loved, worthy, and important. Keep him on the same path You have him on now Lord, and don't let him stray. Give him courage, present him with unbelievable opportunities, and let him grow in Your teachings. In Your Son's name, I pray. Amen
Lord, I lift this graduate up to You and ask for Your mighty blessings to rain down. Show this child success in life and allow him/her to be respected and appreciated in all that he/she does. Allow him/her to feel the joys of accomplishments after hard work, but also keep him/her focused on knowing that You are the reason for all successes in life. Give him/her courage, unbending faith, strong values, and a generous heart. Keep his/her Christian foundation a part of all decisions made and bless him/her with bountiful opportunities. I ask these things in Your name. Amen.
Dear Heavenly Father, protect 2020's graduating seniors as they struggle through these times. Show them that You are what they need to lean on. Use them in a special way for Your honor and glory, to spread Your love to others who are hurting. Give them the strength they need. I pray they will shine Your light on this troubled world.
Lord, they have worked all their lives for this day, the day they hear, Congratulations, you did it!, in front of all the people they love, like they dreamed it would be. Please give these seniors peace in the midst of this trial and comfort them in this difficult season, for You are Sovereign, Lord, and You hold us in Your hands.
Dear Lord, bless my child's future with success, love, and peace. Allow him to be appreciated for his work and help him to see the brightness of tomorrow. Please watch over him, care for him, and show him that Your spirit is with us everywhere we go. When the worries of the world lay like bricks on his shoulders, show him You're there to erase those worries. When fear takes over, calm his spirit and surround him with complete peace as only You can provide. In Your Son's name, I pray. Amen.
Almighty God,
We come today to CELEBRATE all the accomplishments of our graduating seniors.
They are getting ready to embark on the journey of a lifetime.
We ask that you give them wisdom for this journey.
We ask that you protect them and guide them in this journey.
We pray that as they move forward in life, they will hear your voice directing them to avoid the dangerous detours that will draw their attention.
God, you placed a Champion inside each one of them.
And you put an amazing destiny inside each one of them.
Inspire them to stir up the determination, steadfastness, and zeal needed to achieve that destiny.
In Your Mighty Name we Pray,
