Prayer For Focus And Concentration
Lord God,
Thank you for this opportunity to learn new skills and stretch my understanding.
Thank you for guiding me through this time of study into the final exams.
I lay before you all the hopes and fears I have about the outcome.
May you place a peace within me now as I rest and await the results.
Thank you that I am safely held in your love.
Thank you that whatever happens in the future I will live in your goodness and walk with you always.
Father, I come to You out of frustration because I am not pleased with my performance on the job. It seems that I am not producing that which I should be producing because I am just not as efficient or effective as I need to be.
Lord, I ask for Your help in planning my day, paying attention to my duties, staying focused on my assignment, establishing priorities in my work and making steady progress toward my objectives.
Give me insight, Father. Help me to see any habits that I may have that might tend to make me nonproductive. Reveal to me ways to better handle the tedious tasks I must perform so that I can achieve the greatest results possible. Help me to organize my efforts, schedule my activities and budget my time.
From books, by Your Spirit, through the people who work with me or by whatever means You choose, Lord, reveal to me that which I need to know and do in order to become a more productive, fruitful worker.
My heart's desire is to give my very best to You and to my employer. When I become frustrated because that is not taking place, help me, Father, by the power of Your Spirit to do whatever is necessary to correct that situation so that I can once again function with accuracy and proficiency.
Thank You, Lord, for bringing all these things to pass in my life.

Dear Father!I draw near You to seek Your help for my studies; I have the assurance that You love me so very much. Hence, listen to my cries O Lord!Lord ! the Scripture says that You love the prosperity of Your children. You know the importance of studies through which only I can have a bright future. O fountain of all wisdom and knowledge, give me Your guidance and let me learn my lessons properly.Lord! I confess that I get distracted easily; I have more interest in unwanted things rather in my studies. Please forgive me and gird me with You grace and strength so that I concentrate in my studies. Without Your help I cannot achieve any success Lord! So help me to overcome all my weaknesses and strengthen my mind. Take full control of my wandering thoughts and give me Your wisdom and knowledge. Let me shine in my studies O Lord and let me be a blessing to my family. I thank You in advance for answering my prayer. In Jesus' name I pray.Amen.
Dear Heavenly Father, I your servant seek your help, as I trust and believe that that You love the prosperity of Your children. As Your loving Son JESUS have said ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be open, therefore Father please grant me the ability to concentrate at work and let Holy Spirit in me, guide, open my mind and show me the solutions that I need in achieving my task at work. Lord, I admit that I have been complacence, due to distraction from my worries from my trouble and difficulties in my finances. Please forgive me, I have sinned and have mercy on me. Strengthen me, clear the clutter in my mind, give me the energy, and let the Holy Spirit be my guide and light so that I will be able to concentrate and complete all my task. Take away all the fear, weaknesses, negative thoughts from me and shield me always with Your armour. Only by Your assistance, I am able to achieve my goals, and be a success at my work. Father, I am Your handmade from the time I was formed in my mother's womb, take control of my life, grant me Your Wisdom and knowledge. Let me Lord, be a blessing to everyone I work with and all that I come contact with. Lord, I truly trust and believe that You are with me always and You will command You angels and Your Spirit within me to help me make this change and to let me shine in my through my works and at work again. In JESUS name Lord, I make this request to You, and I truly believe that You have changed me. AMEN.
Dear Heavenly Father, I find that my mind too often starts to wander when I am needing to concentrate on the issue at hand. I know that the Bible encourages us to be alert and attentive, knowing that lapses in concentration can be quite serious and I ask that You would help me to cope with this issue and teach me how to keep my mind focussed on the job that needs to be done.
Help me Lord, to be sober and vigilant, just like the Bible says, knowing that the enemy is like a roaring lion who is seeking to devour and harm those that are Your children. You see Lord, I do not want this inability to concentrate to become my downfall in this area.
Lord, You have told us to cast all our cares and concerns on You, and this is becoming a major worry for me. Keep me I pray from becoming distracted and help me to develop the ability to really concentrate at work and during my study times, and also during my prayer sessions. Thank You, Lord, for listening and answering my petition. In Jesus' name,

Please forgive me and gird me with You grace (I love the word gird Lord, because it makes me feel like I am going to battle, and oh I do love a battle! See Lord, I am digressing, yet again!) and strength so that I concentrate in my work. Without Your help I cannot achieve any success Lord!
Please help me to overcome all my weaknesses and strengthen my mind. Take full control of my wandering thoughts and give me Your wisdom and knowledge. Let me shine at work, Heavenly Father and let me be a blessing to to everyone. I lift all this up in Jesus' name.

Inspired with this confidence I fly unto thee oh Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. Oh Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
