Prayer For Focus And Productivity

Lord, thank you for this day. I ask that You would guide my path today and, more specifically, my thoughts, words and actions. Please be with me throughout the day and help me navigate whatever comes my way. Most importantly, help me to reflect and live out my life in a way that is honoring to you. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.

Lord, I don't know what lay before me today, but I commit it all to you. Please give me strength and courage to get through the joys, challenges and happenings of the day. I thank you for my life and for all that I have; I commit this day to you. No matter what happens, I know you have me in the palm of your hand. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the gift of thought processes.
Today I praise you for human minds.
To understand the magnitude of your power
Is beyond my comprehension,
Yet every detail of the world is under your care.
Lord, sometimes my mind grows cloudy
With the cares of this world.
The fog sets in and I can't think clearly.
I need you, the Light of the World,
Because my eyes grow so dim in the dark.
Would you help me stay focused on your light?
Would you provide clarity and make it bright?
For when I get a tiny glimpse
Of a life led by your shine,
I realize with each beaming ray
I want that life to be mine.

My Heavenly father, as I enter this workplace I bring your presence with me. I speak your peace, your grace, your mercy, and your perfect order in this office. I acknowledge your power over all that will be spoken, thought, decided, and done within these walls.

Lord, I thank you for the gifts you have blessed me with. I commit to using them responsibly in your honor. Give me a fresh supply of strength to do my job. Anoint my projects, ideas, and energy so that even my smallest accomplishment may bring you glory.

Lord, when I am confused guide me. When I am burned out infuse me with the light of the Holy Spirit. May the work that I do and the way I do it bring faith, joy, and a smile to all that I come in contact with today.

Lord, I ask for Your help in planning my day, paying attention to my duties, staying focused on my assignment, establishing priorities in my work and making steady progress toward my objectives.

Give me insight, Father. Help me to see any habits that I may have that might tend to make me nonproductive. Reveal to me ways to better handle the tedious tasks I must perform so that I can achieve the greatest results possible. Help me to organize my efforts, schedule my activities and budget my time.

From books, by Your Spirit, through the people who work with me or by whatever means You choose, Lord, reveal to me that which I need to know and do in order to become a more productive, fruitful worker.

My heart's desire is to give my very best to You and to my employer. When I become frustrated because that is not taking place, help me, Father, by the power of Your Spirit to do whatever is necessary to correct that situation so that I can once again function with accuracy and proficiency.

Thank You, Lord, for bringing all these things to pass in my life.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Loving Lord, I am Your child and I believe that I am in the place where You want me to be. Lord, it is my deepest desire to live and work to Your greater glory and to be a good and faithful witness of Your grace and goodness to all with whom I come in contact.

Help me to be focussed in all I do, to Your praise and glory, as well being both fruitful and unceasingly productive, May I concentrate my efforts in the most efficient and effective ways, so that I may fulfil my daily duties and responsibilities with creativity and integrity.

Supply me I pray, with the wisdom and resourcefulness I need to be proactive in carrying out my tasks with a cheerful disposition and a sensitive spirit. Lord, it is my desire that I reflect Your love and grace to all with whom I come in contact, so that Your name will be honoured and glorified. This I ask in Jesus' name,
