Prayer For Focus At Work
Almighty God, whose hands hold all matters of life, give me grace of success in the work that I do. Help me to give it the careful thought and the strict attention that will lead to success.
Watch over me and govern my actions, that I may not mar its perfection. Show me how to give my best, and let me not despise the toil that is necessary to complete it.
Make my life a successful one, in that every duty you give to me, I do it well. Give me the blessing of your help and guidance, and suffer me not to fail. Amen.
Glorious St. Joseph, model of all those who are devoted to labor, obtain for me the grace to work conscientiously, putting the call of duty above my many sins; to work with thankfulness and joy, considering it an honor to employ and develop, by means of labor, the gifts received from God; to work with order, peace, prudence and patience, never surrendering to weariness or difficulties; to work, above all, with purity of intention, and with detachment from self, having always death before my eyes and the account which I must render of time lost, of talents wasted, of good omitted, of vain complacency in success so fatal to the work of God. All for Jesus, all for Mary, all after thy example, O Patriarch Joseph. Such shall be my motto in life and death. Amen.
Father, I come before you thankful that you have made work a part of life and given me the opportunity to glorify you in my work. Thank you that I can work hard and go to bed tired each day. Thank you for the good days and the difficult ones, and for the gifts you have given me to help this world be a better place through my work.
Establish the work of my hands by helping me to be productive, patient, focused, and insightful. Keep me from distractions and from technology hindering my work instead of helping it. May your Spirit lead me in my work and help me to be joyful, creative,
and worshipfulconstantly reminding me of your love and that you're the reason I have breath in my lungs. Teach me to align my work, family, church life, and rest in a way that would maximize your glory and allow me to
bear the most fruit for your kingdom.

Father, thank you for all the ways you've blessed me, specifically with this job that pays my bills and puts food on my table. Thank you that ALL work has significance because work is good. Help me bring you glory today, through my actions, my words, through the good work I do to bring order to my little corner of the world. Help me view my work as a blessing and not a curse. Give me grace and strength for the hardest aspects of my job. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.
Dear God,
You know my needs. You know my desire for a job, for work I enjoy doing, for the next step in my career to present itself. I pray that you would guide me as I continue on this job hunting journey. May I focus first on your will for my life, putting your desires and your plan above my own wishes and wants. Open doors to new opportunities that you desire for me, and equip me with the skills, knowledge, and wisdom I need to take steps forward in this process. As I craft my resume, write cover letters, submit my applications, connect with new companies and potential employers, and go on interviews, give me the words to speak and the courage to share who I am and what I can do. Give me confidence that can only come from you, and give me humility too. I trust you, Lord-- my life is in your hands. Your will be done. Thank you for being near to me every step of the way and thank you for always providing for my every need. May this all be for your glory.

Thank you for the gift of thought processes.
Today I praise you for human minds.
To understand the magnitude of your power
Is beyond my comprehension,
Yet every detail of the world is under your care.
Lord, sometimes my mind grows cloudy
With the cares of this world.
The fog sets in and I can't think clearly.
I need you, the Light of the World,
Because my eyes grow so dim in the dark.
Would you help me stay focused on your light?
Would you provide clarity and make it bright?
For when I get a tiny glimpse
Of a life led by your shine,
I realize with each beaming ray
I want that life to be mine.

Dear Heavenly Father, I your servant seek your help, as I trust and believe that that You love the prosperity of Your children. As Your loving Son JESUS have said ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be open, therefore Father please grant me the ability to concentrate at work and let Holy Spirit in me, guide, open my mind and show me the solutions that I need in achieving my task at work. Lord, I admit that I have been complacence, due to distraction from my worries from my trouble and difficulties in my finances. Please forgive me, I have sinned and have mercy on me. Strengthen me, clear the clutter in my mind, give me the energy, and let the Holy Spirit be my guide and light so that I will be able to concentrate and complete all my task. Take away all the fear, weaknesses, negative thoughts from me and shield me always with Your armour. Only by Your assistance, I am able to achieve my goals, and be a success at my work. Father, I am Your handmade from the time I was formed in my mother's womb, take control of my life, grant me Your Wisdom and knowledge. Let me Lord, be a blessing to everyone I work with and all that I come contact with. Lord, I truly trust and believe that You are with me always and You will command You angels and Your Spirit within me to help me make this change and to let me shine in my through my works and at work again. In JESUS name Lord, I make this request to You, and I truly believe that You have changed me. AMEN.
Heavenly Father, Your Word tells us that the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of those that mock and ridicule God, is a blessed man indeed and Father, it is my desire to live my life
as unto the Lord and to carry out my work in a godly way, keeping the Lord Jesus as the central focus of my heart, day by day.
I thank and praise You for my job, and pray that I will not compromise my faith in any way, but that all I say and do may be done to Your praise and glory. This I ask in Jesus' name,
