Prayer For Fear Of Death
Dear Lord, I confess that I am a sinner. Please forgive my sins and accept me as your child. I invite you to be my Savior and the Lord of my life. I surrender myself to you in the name of Jesus Christ.
All praise be yours, my Lord, through Sister Death,
From whose embrace no mortal can escape.
Woe to those who die in mortal sin!
Happy those she finds doing your will!
The second death can do them no harm.
Praise and bless my Lord, and give him thanks.
And serve him with great humility.
O Blessed Joseph, you gave your last breath in the loving embrace of Jesus and Mary. When the seal of death shall close my life, come with Jesus and Mary to aid me. Obtain for me this solace for that hour to die with their holy arms around me. Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I commend my soul, living and dying, into your sacred arms. Amen.
Soul of Christ, sanctify me.
Body of Christ, save me.
Blood of Christ, inebriate me.
Water from the side of Christ, wash me.
Passion of Christ, strengthen me.
O good Jesus, hear me.
Within Your wounds, hide me.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
From the wicked enemy, defend me.
At the hour of my death call me, and bid me to come to Your side,
that with Your Angels and Your Saints, I may praise You for all eternity, Amen.
O Lord Jesus,
pour into me the spirit of your love,
that in the hour of my death
I may be worthy to vanquish the enemy
and receive the heavenly crown. Amen.
"Dear God, you are God, and I'm not. You sent Jesus to be my Savior, so I must need to be saved. I need you to forgive the things I've done wrong in life. I need you to give me a fresh start in life. I need you to help me know my purpose. I want to begin a relationship with you. I ask you to come into my life. I want to learn to trust you. I want to learn to love you. I want to learn to love other people the way you want me to. So I ask you today with humility and honesty and sincerity to please save me as I put my trust in you. I pray this prayer in Jesus' Name. Amen."
Dear Lord, we will face many terrifying events throughout this life, but may we never forget that the ultimate victory belongs to you. Through your sacrifice, death has been defeated. As we continue to walk in your truth, help us to set our eyes on Heavenly things.

Dear Heavenly Father, at times I become quite fearful about the prospect of death and dying and Lord, I pray that You would help me to overcome this fear and enable me to see death from a heavenly perspective.
I know Lord, that it says in Scripture that the death of Your saints is very precious to You and that it is better to be with You in heaven. I also thank You for Your promise that death has lost its sting and that the grave has lost its victory, through the glorious resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, for which I praise and thank You.
Father, I do thank You that You are my caring Shepherd and that even when I have to walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I do not need to fear, knowing You are with me every step of the way, to comfort and support.
Help me not to fear but rather, may I rest my soul in You and trust that in all things, even in death, You will fulfil Your promise to be with me always and to carry me through, to the end.In Jesus' name I pray,
