Prayer For Enlightenment And Guidance
Lord, you promised that when I seek You with all my heart, I will find You. I seek only after You. Still my troubled heart. Calm my wayward mind. I seek only after You. I'm never going to be able to figure this out on my own, And right now I'm leaning heavily on You. I seek only after You. I give you all the anxieties and fears I feel inside I release them all to You I seek only after You. I open up my life So that it becomes like an open book before You May You write in it Your words of inspiration and direction. Still my troubled heart. Calm my wayward mind. I seek only after You. I await Your voice.
O Holy Ghost, divine Spirit of light and love, I consecrate to Thee my understanding, my heart and my will, my whole being for time and for eternity. May my understanding be always obedient to Thy heavenly inspirations and the teachings of the holy Catholic Church, of which Thou art the infallible Guide; may my heart be ever inflamed with love of God and of my neighbor; may my will be ever conformed to the divine will, and may my whole life be a faithful following of the life and virtues of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to whom with the Father and Thee be honor and glory for ever. Amen.
Lord, thank You for the people You have divinely placed in my life who speak holy truth, love and words of wisdom. Give me a heart of discernment to know when You are using someone to speak instruction into my heart and my circumstances, and give me the strength and courage to follow through with that advice, even when it's hard. Fill me with peace in knowing that even if I take a wrong turn, Your purpose will prevail. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Lord, I'm here today with open hands and an open heart, ready to depend on you to help me through the day and all it will bring my way. Help me be like Nehemiah, help me come to you for guidance, strength, provision and protection. As I face tough choices and hard situations, help me remember my belovedness, help me remember that I am Your child and Your representative to the world around me. Help me live today in a way that brings honor to Your holy name. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Lord, I pray you would move the Spirit more boldly in my life. I know that any sin can grieve and diminish the voice of the Spirit, and I pray against the temptation to sin. Help me crave your presence more than I crave sin. Help me grow in the fruit of the Spirit and so walk closer with Yourself. I pray for guidance from your Spirit- let your will and promises always be a meditation of my heart. In Jesus' Name, Amen
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your guidance. Forgive me for getting ahead of Your plans, and help me know when to stop and listen for Your direction. Your ways are perfect, Lord. Thank You for offering gentle grace. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Lord, I feel unworthy to ask you any favors considering how I have been acting against your will. But I humbly ask for your forgiveness for all my shortcomings. I am deeply troubled right now,oh God, and I badly need your guidance and calming presence. Challenges at work bombard me in all directions and I feel I'm on the brink of giving up.
I feel so helpless and alone. Please guide me on what I need to do. Help me make the right decision that would not compromise those who depend on me. I depend on no one but you dear Lord .
Heavenly Father, I come before you, with humble heart, asking for your forgiveness for my shortcomings and praying for holy spirit to enlighten my mind that I may do what is right and just. I am confuse and I know that only through your loving mercy I will find the answers to my questions. This I pray through your Son, Jesus Christ, Our Lord, Amen.
