Prayer For Discipline
Father, I come to you today in need of self-discipline. My heart feels weak and my mind is disturbed. I come in need of your grace and power. Holy Spirit, come presence yourself in my life.
Where there are temptations help me to deliberately walk away from them.
Where there are distractions help me to stay focused and true to the things you have called me to.
Where there are obstacles before me, may your light shine a way through.
Lord, I ask that with your strength and love to guide me
I might live a simple and holy life.
Amen.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I come to You in complete surrender to Your will and Your way for my life. Lord until now I'm not sure I understood Your instructions. Lord forgive me for not knowing and heeding Your word about how I am to show up as a daughter of the King. Now I reject my old way of being inconsistent and claiming I have no discipline. God I accept You are calling me higher. I accept Your standard for my life to do all things decent and in order. I admit I am challenged when it comes to doing what I need to do. Lord release me from being controlled by my feelings and emotions. Lord help me to develop discipline in all areas of my life including very practical matters. Lord help me to develop and maintain discipline even in areas that are holding me back from being the best representation of You. I want to be Your Ambassador so won't You please move me out of my own way. Enable me to show up to me to be self-controlled as Your Word says. I thank You now for moving on my behalf to transform me. I believe I can do it Lord according to Your power at work in me. Your word says it and I believe it that the Fruit of the Spirit is self-control and it resides in me. I declare it done right now Lord. I declare and decree I shall move in the direction You lead me to go to do the necessary work to break the chains that hold me down. In Jesus' Name, Amen
Lord, give me the wisdom to see
No good life comes without right discipline.
Give me the grace to impose it upon myself
Lest others do it for me.
Help me to discipline my tongue
That I may be clear rather than clever
Sincere instead of sarcastic
Help me to discipline my thinking and actions
To do what is right
And not what is easy
Let me get on with the job on hand
Doing the best I can
And leaving the rest to You.

Dear God,
Please help me to have more self-control. Train me Lord, like an athlete to be strong and determined. Feed me with your truth in the scriptures to make me healthy. May I exercise muscles of forgiveness, patience and peacemaking. Lord, increase my stamina to give out to those in need. And may I be freed from past hurts and confusions so that I can run free.
Come fill my life with your resurrection hope!

Father, I pray today that I don't run around aimlessly, that I discipline my mind and body to seek you Lord God and not the world. Lord I pray as I read your word, that I meditate on it, that I let your living word live in me, that I run my race for you Lord, in whatever area you have called me to run. Let my life bring praise and glory to you Father, not myself. Let me take joy because of you Lord, as I train for this race you have set for me. Let me be full of joy and peace as I train because I am in your presence. Lord I ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
DEAR GOD,
I PRAY THAT WITH THE HELP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT WHO LIVES IN ME, I CAN GUARD THE MINUTES + HOURS YOU'VE GIVEN ME.
I PRAY FOR SELF-DISCIPLINE.
AND I PRAY THAT YOU WOULD DO MORE WITH MY MINUTES + HOURS THAN I, ALONE CAN.
