Prayer For Disobedient Child

In Jesus name, I confess that my children are taught by the Lord and are established in holy and righteousness.

Father, I plead the blood of Jesus upon my children and I bind all the spirits of rebellion, stubbornness around all my children in Jesus name.

Please protect my children wherever they are and wherever they go. Protect them from all sickness and diseases , from all harm ,from accidents and breakdowns, from the power of witchcraft and darkness, from all evil spirits and evil men , all strongholds ,from all sins and temptations, from all the attacks of Satan ,from all types of curses that have been spoken over my children, from every demonic spirit, and spiritual wickedness , from the spirit of fear, anxiety, depression, oppression, weariness, doubt, stress, bitterness, jealousy, unforgiveness, failure and poverty and from all calamities and natural disasters.

In Jesus name, I confess that no generational curses, hereditary sickness and diseases shall have any effect upon my children .My children are anointed with the blood of Jesus and are blessed abundantly and they shall bring glory to God and to family in Jesus name.

I confess that No evil will befall on my children nor any plague or terror will come near their dwelling for they are covered with the blood of Jesus.

I place the full armour of God on my children and surrender them to you . I call forth, the Name of Jesus, all of God's plans and purposes for my children's life. All this I ask in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you as a fellow parent, knowing that you understand how my heart breaks for __________________(name) my grown child's situation. I am praying now for your help and hope to be reborn in all of us as I pray the words of Isaiah over them.

This is what the Lord says;

In the time of my favor I will answer you, and in the day of salvation I will help you; I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land and to reassign its desolate inheritance, to say to the captives, Come out,' and to those in darkness, Be free!'

I claim this prayer time as the day of favor for my child. I thank you that you have promised to help us. I thank you that you have promised to restore the lost and broken parts. Here are some specific things that need restoration in my child's life __________________________________

I thank you that you promise to be my child's keeper. Here are the things that I can't do for them that I place into your keeping _____________________________________

I thank you that you promise that you will set them free. Here are things from which my child needs to be set free today _________________________________________________________________

They will feed beside the roads and find pasture on every barren hill. They will neither hunger nor thirst, nor will the desert heat or the sun beat upon them. He who has compassion will guide them and lead them besides springs of water. I will turn all my mountains into roads and my highways will be raised up. See, they will come from afar some from the north, some from the west, some from the region of Aswan.

I thank you that you can provide for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of my child today. Here are some of the most pressing needs they have___________________________________________

I thank you that you feel deep compassion for them, that you want to see them well and whole and joyous and in good relationships with others and with yourself. Here are some things that break my heart and worry me about my child's situation_________________________________________

I pray that you will guide my child to the help they need. I pray that you will give them rest and give them the strength for the journey back to stability. Here are the issues on which my child needs your guidance today_____________________________________________________________

Shout for joy, O heavens; rejoice, O earth; burst into song, O mountains! For the Lord comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones.

I praise you now for the comfort you are bringing me that you are with us all and that you care deeply.

But Zion said, The Lord has forsaken me, the Lord has forgotten me. Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will never forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me. Your sons hasten back, and those who laid you waste depart from you. Lift up your eyes and look around; all your sons gather and come to you. As surely as I live, declares the lord, You will wear them all as ornaments, you will put them on like a bride.

Dear Father, help my child to not feel alone and forgotten by the world or by you. Instead, help them turn to you that they may be healed and helped. Help them to know the deep love I have for them as a parent. I ask for your guidance on how to express my deep love for my child in a way that they will accept and understand. Please give me one specific thought or idea now____________________________

Help me to trust you totally, knowing that you have not forgotten me or my child. Help me to stand in your presence, knowing that you always see me. I pray against the following things that have laid waste to my child. May these things depart from them by your power_______________________________

I now end my prayer, lifting my eyes toward you, believing that you are at work in ways I will soon see. I thank you for the gathering back in of my child to you and to our family. May our family's beautiful love and joy together be apparent for all to see.

I pray these things in the strong and loving name of Jesus Christ, God's only son. Amen

I bow humbly before the heavenly Father to intercede for my son/daughter, _______. I bring him/her before You in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank You that You have loved _______ with the love of Calvary. I thank You that You gave him/her to us to love and nurture in Christ. I ask You to forgive us for all of our failures to guide him/her in the way he/she ought to go. I am thankful that You are sovereign and can use even the depths of sin to which he/she is now enslaved to rebound to your glory. I praise You for this great trial that humbles my heart before You.

Accepting my position of being mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds, I bring all of the work of the Lord Jesus Christ to focus directly against the powers of darkness that blind and bind _______. I pray the victory of our Lord's incarnation, crucifixion, resurrection, ascension, and glorification directly against all of Satan's power in _______'s life. I bind up all powers of darkness set to destroying _______, and I loose him/her from their blinding in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I invite the blessed Holy Spirit to move upon _______'s heart and to convict him/her of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment to come. In my priestly ministry, I confess _______'s sins unto You and plead Your compassionate mercy toward him/her. I confess his/her yielding to all manner of fleshly sins which has given Satan such place in his/her life. I plead the blood of Christ over _______'s wickedness and wait upon the Holy Spirit to bring him/her to repentance, faith, and life in the Lord Jesus Christ. By faith I claim him/her for a life yielded to serve the true and living God in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen

Father, in the Name of Jesus, I praise You and thank You that You are a good God. Thank You that You love me, and that You love my son/daughter. Father, I thank You for giving me the honor and privilege of being _____'s parent. You knew him/her before he/she was born. You knit my child together in the womb, and You had great plans for his/her life before it had even begun.

Lord, You know the trials that I have faced in watching my child go against Your Word, making poor and damaging choices. I ask today that You heal my heart and renew my strength to stand for my child in Jesus' Name.

Your Word says You will pour out Your Spirit upon my offspring and Your blessing upon my descendants. So, I declare by faith that my child hears the voice of Your Spirit and the voice of strangers my child will not follow.

Father, right now, I repent of any rebellion in my own life, and I ask You to forgive me and show me any areas where rebellion exists, so that I can root it out of my life forever with Your supernatural help.

I know that the spirit of rebellion is a demonic spirit and has no right and no place in my child. So, by the authority You have given me, through Christ Jesus, I command every wrong spirit, including the spirit of rebellion, to leave my child right now in the Name of Jesus'. No weapon formed against ______ will prosper, I send angels to take charge over my child, I plead the blood of Jesus over _____, and I declare Psalm 91 protection over him/her. I break every stronghold right now in Jesus' Name.

Satan, you cannot have my child! I resist you! Now go!

Lord, I know it is Your will for _______ to come into the family of God, to love You, serve You, and find peace, joy and happiness all the days of his/her life. I thank You for lifting the veil from my child's eyes, for convicting __________, that his/her faith will not fail him/her, and bringing him/her to a broad place.

I thank You and praise You that he/she will come home from the distant land of the enemy and return to You.
