Prayer For Women's Group
Merciful Lord, thank you that you are the God of faithfulness. Even when we fail, you never let us down. You have said that where two or three are gathered in your name, you are there with them. As we gather together as women today, we are grateful that you are in our midst. In everything we do together, we pray that our eyes would remain on you and we would listen carefully for your voice. To you be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Everlasting God, we praise you for your love for every woman in this room. We pray that you would speak a clear word to us today. We call on you to meet our needs and satisfy our desires. We desire to be women of prayer, who cry to you without ceasing. Motivate us to pray for our parents, husbands, children, siblings and friends. May we look to you as our first option rather than our last resort. We thank you that we can entrust our loved ones to your gracious and compassionate care. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Faithful Father, thank you that you are our source of delight and wonder. As we meet together as your beloved daughters, may we be reminded of your faithfulness to generations of women who have gone before us. As your disciples, may we go from strength to strength as you shape us into your likeness. Defeat the power of darkness in our lives and help us conquer every obstacle that stands in our path. To you, our God, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time, and now and forever. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
King of Kings, Lord of Lords, everything in the world around us shows us more of your glory and majesty. We pray for each woman here today that our eyes would be opened to see the activity of your Holy Spirit in our lives. Fill us with awe and wonder at your mighty works. Fill our mouths with praise to you. Speak your words of love and compassion to us and give us ears to hear what you are saying. Prepare our hearts to receive your love and to pour out that love to others. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
God of all love, you are the Lord of all creation. As we gather here today let us be reminded that we are women who have been made by you. You formed us in our mother's wombs. We have been fearfully and wonderfully made. You speak tender words of mercy to us. We ask for your blessing on everyone here. Heal any pain that lingers in our hearts and encourage us with your love. Blessing and glory, wisdom and thanksgiving, honor, and power and strength, be unto you our God, forever and ever. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
O Lord, our God, we thank you for your great love for us. As your daughters gather together today, we ask that your glory would fill our vision. Draw near to us as we meet in your name. Pour your light into our hearts. We look to you as the source of joy and happiness in our lives. Without your strength we are weak. Without your guidance, we are lost. You have redeemed us and set us free from slavery to sin. May we live lives of freedom in worship to you. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Lord Jesus Christ, thank you that you hear and answer our prayers. Hear the prayer of every woman here today and answer in your great love. Enter into this place and meet with us today. Remove all fear and sadness and refresh our souls. As we look to you we see the radiance of God's glory. Increase our faith as you reveal more of your character and your deeds to us. Shine into our night and drive the dark away, may your glory fill our hearts. May your grace be with our spirit. In your mighty name, Amen.
Heavenly Father, thank you that all blessing and joy flows from your hand to us. We ask that you bring healing to every woman here who is feeling broken. We ask that you give strength to every woman here who is feeling weary. We ask that you bring freedom to every woman here who is feeling shame. We ask that you bring joy to every woman here who is feeling sadness. We ask that you bring faith to every woman here who is experiencing doubt. May we be filled with your love and your spirit.
