Prayer For Women's Tea

May God be a bright flame before you,
Be a guiding star above you,
Be a smooth path below you,
Be a kindly shepherd behind you,
Today, tomorrow and for ever.
Amen.

Lord, thank you that you have given us the gift of prayer! It is amazing to think how the God of the universe wants to spend time with us. Help us to use this gift on a daily basis. We love you. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Now I pray to God that you do no evil, not that we should appear approved, but that you should do what is honorable, though we may seem disqualified.

Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me away from Your presence,
And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me

Dear God, please
lead me into Comfort's Ways.
Let me bring you the cup
of who I am,
which you find special
everyday.
Help me open to your Grace
as I sit awhile,
comfortable enough to say,
I put my feet up now,
and set my worries down -
into your hands today.

Let me remember,
in these moments of
much-needed ease,
the many ways you've tended me,
and filled my cup
with the splendid blessings
you so constantly
send my way.

Help me merge with you,
as I steep my tea
and center myself
to receive your Love-filled Light.
And when that sip of warmth
spreads through me,
let it heal all the places in my spirit
that were in need.

As I feel that healing Light,
as I surrender to you
my worry and my pain -
cleanse my heart
and comfort my emotions,
so I may regain my sacred balance -
in the centerpoint
and steadfast warmth
of your fine Love.

And as this gentle teatime
renews the all of me,
let me lift my teacup,
and my prayers,
into the wings of your
higher Vibration,
so I may let your radiant energy
imbue my every thought
with Vision, with Wisdom,
and with the Guidance
of your luminous Insight.

I promise, dear God, to honor
the rich servings of blessings
and inspirations
you so generously
bring to me by using them
in my life today.
And I promise
to come back to you often
so you may see me smiling
when I hear the clink of fine china,
or nodding
when I see a teacup on a shelf
knowing that this day
and this prayer
are not mine alone,
but shared with You.

Thank you, God,
for this teatime,
and for the gift of Love
you ever bring my way.
I go forth now,
with you in my Heart,
as I let you fill
and change my day
with the warmth and radiance
of your Grace.

Dear Lord, You walk beside us, each moment of each day. You know us by name, see each joy and sorrow. You created within us a gentle capacity to love and nurture. You gave us understanding and patience in a troubled world. You laid upon us the responsibility to carry and care for new life. You released us to run and dance, to sing and create. You crafted in us sharp minds that are able to solve problems and see possibilities. You desire each of us to live life to the full, embracing your love for us and extending grace to others. You gave your life so that we could walk free to build your kingdom on earth as in heaven. We lay our lives before you and trust in your unfailing love. Guide us, Heal us, Touch us, And lead us, To reflect more and more of you life within our own. Amen.

As we gather here in the harbour of your safety We thank you for fellowship and family. We ask that you will strengthen us, restore us and inspire us with your love. Lord, would you fill us with your peace So that as we journey onwards We would pour out your love and grace to others. We ask that our souls would catch the wind of your spirit so that we would take your promises to all the earth. Amen.

We come together to give you honour and praise. We ask that you would help us to draw close to you. Please come and speak your words of wisdom into our lives. Help us to embrace one another, our similarities, our differences, our concerns and our joys. We long for your touch on our lives, that we might be your hands and feet to the world. Inspire our hearts, heal our wounds, bring your peace into our worries and your hope into our disappointments. Come Lord and weave your love into our fellowship together, that we may overflow with grace and allow your truth to light up our lives anew. Amen.
