Prayer For The Offering
Lord, I know that only those who have committed the sins can fully ask for your forgiveness. But today, I turn to you and ask in Jesus' name to demolish the strongholds in their minds that those sins have allowed. I ask that these walls are broken so they have the ability to see You! With Jesus, I know we have the authority and power to overcome the enemy in their lives. May the evil in their lives be banned away by the Spirit of God so that they can begin to ask for true forgiveness. Father, help them see their need for a Savior, to know they must confess their sins, repent, believe and live a fruitful life. Help them choose Your mercy and Your gift of grace, to believe with their hearts and confess with their mouths, Jesus is Lord. We ask in Your will, that not any should perish. In Jesus' precious name. Amen.
It is heartbreaking to know when someone you love and care about doesn't believe in the Lord. While it may take time for them to turn their lives over to God, we can help start the process by lifting them up in prayer regularly. Through Jesus, we have the power to help those nonbelievers find faith.
O Lord,
There are some of us here today that didn't want to come here. There are some of us today that will give to the offering with bitter hearts. Father, I pray You will soften the hearts of those who are worried about giving You their money instead of spending it on themselves. Father, I pray that You will bless all who give today and show them Your love in a mighty way because of their obedience. Bless these tithes and offerings, Father. We love You! Amen
Heavenly Father,
We thank You for bringing us all to Your house safely today and we are so blessed by Your presence here today. Thank You for Your love and mercy on us, Father. Father, we believe in the Book of Proverbs and I pray that everyone here will look into their hearts and act in obedience to Your Word. May we give not to become richer, though, may we give because we simply love You! Accept these tithes and offerings today. We love You, Lord! Amen
O Lord,
We thank You for Your steadfast love and mercy on us. Father, we believe that every word in the Bible was breathed out by You (2 Tim 3:16), and we believe Your promise that You will bless us when we are obedient to Your Word. And so, without hesitation, we gladly give to You what is Yours. Bless these tithes and offerings, Father. We love You, Lord! Amen
Father God,
You are the giver of all good things, and your Word makes clear that every good and perfect gift comes from you. We ask that you accept these gifts and use them to your glory. May these gifts bring shelter to the homeless, comfort to the sick, rest to the weary, and hope to the hopeless. Just as you multiplied the offering of fish and the loaves that were freely given for others, we pray that you would multiply these, our offerings to you, and accomplish with them more than we could ask or imagine.
We give freely and not from compulsion, for there is nothing we could give that matches your glory and majesty, and the great gift of your son Jesus and of the Holy Spirit which guides us daily. All we have is yours, Father, and we ask that you would use us and all we have as you will. Amen.
God of the Universe, thank you that your promises are sure, you are faithful, I can rely on you. Your word says that we will find joy in offering our time, talents and money to meet the needs of others. Help us to give freely, sacrificially and cheerfully towards the work of your kingdom. May you cause the seeds that we sow to grow into well-watered, fruitful trees of life. Lord, bless us and keep us, make your face shine upon us. Turn your face towards us and give us peace. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Lord Jesus Christ, thank you that you have plans for me that are for my good and your glory. You said, Give, and it will be given to you; for in the same measure as you give, it will be given to you again. We give to you today as a response to your goodness to us. We ask that you receive our offerings and continue to supply all our needs. May your peace be in our hearts, your grace be in our words, your love be in our hands and your joy be in our souls. In your mighty name, Amen.
Heavenly Father, thank you that you can satisfy our every desire and need. Your word says that we should give honor to you with the first fruits of our wealth. Accept our tithes and offerings as a gift of worship to you. Multiply what we give for the effective growth of your kingdom. May Christ dwell in our hearts through faith so that we, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge. May we be filled with all the fullness of God. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
