Prayer For Someone In Critical Condition
Lord Jesus, you came into the world to heal our infirmities and to endure our sufferings. You went about healing all and bringing comfort to those in pain and need. We come before you now in this time of illness asking that you may be the source of our strength in body, courage in spirit and patience in pain. May we join ourselves more closely to you on the cross and in your suffering that through them we may draw our patience and hope. Assist us and restore us to health so that united more closely to your family, the Church, we may give praise and honour to your name.
Amen.
Lord, your Word speaks promises of healing and restoration, and I thank you for the miracles you still perform today. Today I claim those promises over my friend. I believe in the healing power of faith and prayer, and I ask you to begin your mighty work in the life of my friend. Please reach down and surround my friend with supernatural peace and strength and give her the faith to believe that all things are possible for you. Protect her from Satan's lies and discouragement and let her miraculous healing begin. Amen.
Jesus, With just one touch from your Almighty creative hand,
You have healed the sick and raised the dead.
How amazing is your Lordship over all the earth,
How powerful is your redeeming love.
How great was your sacrifice to go before us and bring forgiveness and hope.
By your stripes, I ask for healing.
Standing within your reign and rule I ask for restoration.
May life and wellness grow in fullness until it overflows. Amen.

I rest underneath your mighty wings of love.

I know there is healing in your touch.

Healing God, give strength and courage to ________________ as she/he patiently
endures the suffering and pain of her/his illness.
Take from her/his heart all painful anxiety. Help her/him to place her/himself in the arms
of your loving providence, trusting in your compassionate, tender love.
Blessed Mary and all the saints, gather round us as we pray for our sister/brother. May we
reach out to her/him with compassion and support, bringing her/him comfort. Through
your intercession may we all look forward to being united with you in God's presence.
