Prayer For Sincerity
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
enjoying one moment at a time;
accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
that I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
forever in the next.
Amen.
Dear Lord,
I thank You for the gift of life, for loving me unconditionally. Although I have been faithless, You have been faithful. Today, I come before You and repent of my sins. I repent of all the sins I may have committed, knowingly and unknowingly. There are some things I am so ashamed to say that I have done, I pray that You will help me to forgive myself. As You forgive me, give me the grace to forgive others. Today, I rededicate my life to you. I totally surrender all to You, without You I am nothing. I have tried the ways of the world, and have gained no satisfaction. Only You can complete me. I pray that You will order my steps, guide me in the right path and be my decision maker. I pray that You will help me to fulfil the plans You have for me in my life, and to make an impact in Your kingdom. In Jesus name I pray, AMEN.
O lord my God, teach me to pray with sincerity! Work with my heart that I might understand. Work with my head, that my mind and body might be one. Work with my tongue, that the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart might be acceptable to you. Reassure me that you hear every prayer and are acquainted with my every groan that prayer is not judged by the eloquence of words, but the truthfulness of the heart. Help me to rise above the temptation to display my spirituality through meaninglessness long-winded speeches Grant me a sincere faith and a genuine hope and love. Through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray. Amen
Oh Lord,
I'm so grateful I can be honest with youthat I don't have to wear a mask in front of You. There are days that I don't know what to say. There are days when everything seems jumbled inside my head, so I ask you to see
my heart. Hear the prayer in my spirit and show me what You want me to know about You, about my circumstance, and about myself.
