Prayer For Sabbath

Almighty God, grant us and all our loved ones true rest on this Sabbath Day.
May Your Presence drive out from among us anger and fear, worry and regret.
Send your blessing upon us, that we may be people of the Word.
Heavenly Father,
We rejoice in the beauty of Your world,
the power of Your Word,
the presence of Your Holy Spirit,
and the love of family and friends.
It is from You we receive every good and perfect gift.
Open our eyes to see.
Giver of Life and Love,
grant us Your peace this day and always, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Blessed are you, O Lord our God, King of the universe. You are the Author of Love and Life.
You have given us the opportunity to work this past week the privilege of serving You and Your Kingdom in
visible and invisible ways. For the work of our hands and heart, we thank You.

We thank you for the things we did out of duty and the things we did out of delight for projects, demands,
chores, sore muscles and acts of kindnessfor all that was planned and unplanned. Lord, receive it as our gift
to You.

For all that was left undone because of distraction or laziness, forgive us, Lord Jesus.
For all that was left undone because we obeyed the Spirit's leading, we recognize Your handiwork and give You

Now, the Sabbath lies before us and we are ready to cross the threshold.
Lord Jesus, You are the Light of the world
You created and crafted this day of Sabbath Rest.
You bless it.
You crown it with glory.
You call it holy.
Through it, You call us out of darkness into Your love and light.
It is to be a day of refreshment and celebration.
It is a day of devotion and delight. Set apart since the beginning of time,
You alone release us from the bondage of duty and demand.
As Your chosen people, we will embrace this day of Sabbath Rest.
In keeping it, we remember You as our Creator and Rescue Redeemer.
We do this now, with joy.

Enter our home and hearts today.

Our God of
the universe, What a God, What a provider, What a
protector, What a Redeemer, And what a Savior You are.
Thank You, Lord, for allowing us to see, feel, and
experience another Sabbath! As Your children, we are
blessed beyond measure, but sometimes, as busy men
and women in a demanding world, we need a day to
rest from the cares of this world and to worship You our
Creator. We join together with those millions from
around the world and the universe to "Remember the
Sabbath day, to keep it holy" Lord, God, this is Your day
that You have blessed and sanctified as Your special
day of the week. May we always give thanks, for life
and health, family and friends, freedom and
possessions--for starters. And we demonstrate our
gratitude and love for You, by obeying Your command, I
ask for Your special blessing and Your presence to enter
each home and heart. May each Pastor, those who have
spoken already and those who have yet too, be covered
with a special Anointing from heaven. May those who
are traveling be granted, traveling mercies. Comfort
those who have lost a loved one this week. May our
sins be forgiven. Let Your presence reign over my FB
family. We lift You up, and magnify Your holy name,
because You are worthy to be praised. As we enter into
Your Sabbath rest, we look forward to being, restored,
renewed, revived, reclaimed and redeemed and redeemed
and redeemed. Thank You, Father, that we can celebrate
our relationship with You. Let Your power be my power,
Lord, and let Your way be my way, today and forever. In
Yahweh' name I pray...Amen and Amen

Blessed are You, Eternal our God, Sovereign of the universe, Who brings forth bread from the earth. Blessed are You, Eternal our God, Sovereign of the universe, Who has sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us concerning washing of hands.
