Prayer For Protection While Traveling
Dear God,
Please protect us on the journey we are about to take.
Support us with Your strength and grace when we are weary.
Help us to be mindful of Your presence and love in times of stress
and guide us to make our time together meaningful and memorable.
Amen.
God, sometimes flying makes me nervous.
I know airplanes are safe, but still I worry.
Please give me Your peace Help me remember that You are watching over the plane.
Bless the men and women in the cockpit.
Bless the flight attendants and all the passengers.
Remind me that flight is a miraculous gift from You, and that when this plane speeds through the air, it is obeying the physical laws of the world You created.
As I look at the sky above and the earth below, I praise You for the beauty of Your creation.
I place myself confidently in Your care, knowing that, just as You guide me on the ground, so Your loving arms protect me in the air.
Amen.
Heavenly Father,
Please protect us while we travel.
The streets are busy and the trip is long.
Keep us safe from the dangers of the road.
Give us courtesy and patience with other drivers.
And help us reach our destination swiftly and easily, always knowing that You are with us.
Amen.
Dear Lord,
I pray for our upcoming trip with the kids. I ask that you will guard their bodies so that no sickness will occur while we are gone. I pray that they will be in good spirits and will cause very little distraction on the way to our destination. Help me to discern when they need a break or some rest during this trip yet help us have a wonderful time. In your name, I pray. Amen.
O God, our heavenly Father, whose glory fills the whole creation, and whose presence we find wherever we go: Preserve those who travel [in particular _______________]; surround them with your loving care; protect them from every danger; and bring them in safety to their journey's end; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Guide us as always O Lord and fill us with your Holy Spirit. In you we trust and find our strength for each new day.
Unleash us anew to live by faith, be known by love, and to serve as voices of hope to those who need it the most.

Gracious God,
You are our refuge and protection. You are our rock in times of trouble as well as in times of abundance. For this we are grateful. Thank you for your kindness and grace that you freely share with us moment by moment.
Help us Lord to be persons of courage and faithfulness. Empower us to be voices of faith, hope, and love in a time of anxiety, fear and overwhelm.
Teach us God to expand our imaginations so that we may be faithful ambassadors of the Gospel in this new day of disruption in which our old models of the world don't quite fit.
Where others see obstacles and challenges, give us the eyes to see new opportunities and possibilities. Amen
Eternal God, Our Creator and Sustainer: Thank you for the gift of life. Thank you for your mercies that are new every morning. Life and wellbeing are your amazing gifts. Today we are surrounded by fear while travelling. Heal our fear, give us faith. We declare that sickness and death are in Your control. We pray for healing and protection. Amen
