Prayer For Protection From Harm
Lord Jesus Christ, you are the name above every other name. At your name, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that you are the Lord of all. If you are for me, who can be against me? As I experience conflict and confusion, protect me from trouble and help me find peace. You are the one who can lift my head high. Please help me walk through the darkness towards your glorious light. Give me wisdom in my decisions and guide my steps today.Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Mighty God, there are no limits on your power and there are no limits on your love. I pray for protection with great confidence in your character and your work on behalf of your people. Nothing can restrain you or hold you back. No one can thwart your purposes and your plans. Keep me safe in your presence Lord, all the days of my life. May I be free from fear because you are always at my side. Hear me as I call on you Lord, and answer me today. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Eternal, loving God, thank you that your grace and mercy are inexhaustible. Your word says that, although the afflictions of the righteous may be many, you will deliver your people through them all. Protect my heart from turning from your way. Protect my mind from nurturing unhelpful thoughts. Protect my mouth from saying hurtful words. Protect my actions that I may faithfully serve you in everything I do. Strengthen me in times of trouble. Carry me when I can not keep going. Help me to wholeheartedly trust in you. Heavenly Father, thank you that you made me and you know me better than I know myself. There are no difficulties I face that are not known, and understood, by you. You have promised to revive me when I am in trouble, to save me from my enemies and to stretch out your mighty hand to protect me. Help me to trust in your promises with all my heart, all my mind, all my soul and all my strength. Replace my fear with faith. Help me to live in the truth that I am more than a conqueror through you. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Wonderful Counsellor, thank you that you are my strength and my song, you fill my heart with joy from morning to evening. Your word says that you are near to all who call on you, to all who call on you in truth. I call on you to protect me and those I love. You are the hiding place for your people, you protect them from harm and surround them with songs of deliverance. Give me assurance that the battle belongs to you, O mighty Lord. God of the Universe, thank you that you have plans for me that are for my good and your glory. You have promised that if I trust in you with all my heart and do not lean on my own understanding, submitting to you in all my ways, then you will make my paths straight. Protect me and guide me along the right path Lord. My help comes from you, you will not let my foot slip. You never stop watching over me, you never slumber nor sleep. Generous Father, thank you for being my source of true joy in my life. You have promised that when I pass through the waters, you will be with me, the rivers will not sweep over you, the fire will not burn me. Keep me safe, Lord, from the hands of those who intend to cause me harm. Protect me from danger, strengthen me in weakness, empower me in the face of temptation. Give me assurance that I am safe in your hands, you will not lose your hold on your people. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Faithful Father, thank you for being my protector and provider, everything I need is found in you. You have said that you have plans and a purpose for me, plans to prosper me not to harm me. Take away my fear, for I am with you. I will not be dismayed because you are my God. I ask you to strengthen and help me. As I face challenging circumstances, please uphold me with your righteous right hand. Increase my faith that I can live in the confidence that I am your precious possession.
