Prayer For Police Officer Killed
St. Jude, glorious Apostle, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor has caused you to be forgotten by many, but the true Church invokes you universally as the Patron of things despaired of; pray for me, who am so miserable pray for me, that finally I may receive the consolations and the succor of Heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, particularly (make your request here) and I may bless God with the Elect throughout Eternity. Amen.
O almighty God whose great power and
eternal wisdom embrace the universe,
watch over all Law Enforcement
Officers. Protect them from harm in the
performance of their duty to stop crime,
robberies, riots and violence. We pray
to help them keep our streets and homes
safe day and night. We recommend
them to your care because their duty is
dangerous. Grant them your unending
strength and courage in their daily
assignments. Dear God protect these
brave officers, grant them your almighty
protection, unite them safely with their
families after duty ends. Amen.
Lord, Today we mourn the loss of a dedicated public servant who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving and protecting the people of Mandeville and the people of Louisiana. Our hearts go out to the officer's family and friends, the people of Mandeville and the entire law enforcement community. Give them eternal rest on you. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
We grieve for those that are living in war-torn countries of where there is much blood-shed, corruption and unrest in their governments, and pray that in Your pity and grace You would intervene, by removing corrupt leaders and replacing them with those of integrity.
But Lord, we also know that until the Lord Jesus returns as Prince of Pease to set up His millennial kingdom, the current unrest, wars and rumours of wars, corruption and distress will continue. And so we pray that You would be merciful to those that are suffering due to the increasing unrest and fear that is sweeping the nations of the world today. This we ask in Jesus' name,

Father, you know the fellow officers who mourn with the family, especially those who were with the fallen officer. Remove from them the repeated nightmares of asking themselves what they could have done differently or why wasn't it them in the coffin. Amen
Lord you know, that the death of their fellow officer will always haunt them and the memory will never fade. Father guide them to the help they need to recover from what they've seen and don't let it cause division among the unit or place any in danger with fear and hesitancy. Amen
Father, we know you mourn with both these families. Give them whatever they each need in their lives. Walk beside them Father. Draw them into your embrace and fill them with a peace that passes all understanding. For those who don't know you, open their eyes to seek you, the only source of relief from their anguish. Let them feel your presence grieving with them. Your tears. Your hugs. Your love. Amen.
Heavenly Father,
We pray for the eternal repose of our brother Jose.
Be merciful upon him.
Give consolation and strength to his family and friends.
Bless our community during this time of sadness and desolation.
May we seek your peace through a conversion of life.
May our faith in the Risen Christ
dispel the shadows caused by grief.
May the soul of our brother, Jose, and the souls
of all the faithful departed rest in peace!
