Prayer For Peace On The Job
O Judge of the nations, we remember before you with grateful hearts the men and women of our country who in the day of decision ventured much for the liberties we now enjoy. Grant that we may not rest until all the people of this land share the benefits of true freedom and gladly accept its disciplines. This we ask in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Almighty God our heavenly Father, you declare your glory and showest forth your handiwork in the heavens and in the earth: Deliver us, we pray, in our various occupations from the service of self alone, that we may do the work which you have given us to do in truth and beauty and for the common good; for the sake of him who came among us as one who serves, your Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
Dear God, may Your latest command be my first concern. May Your latest act of mercy prompt my first act of thanksgiving. May Your latest act of forgiveness prompt my first act of forgiving someone else. May Your latest act of grace prompt my first act of reflecting Your love to others. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord. Amen.
O God, You are my rock and my strength. You are my redeemer and my deliverer. You are my shield and my salvation. You are my stronghold in whom I take refuge. You save me from anxiety and fear. You hear my prayers and You deliver me. I praise You, O Lord, my strength and my salvation. Amen.
Father,
In the name of Jesus, I now come boldly before Your throne to stand in the gap for my husband. As I know You already know, he has been under severe attack at work from a new foreman who seems to want to get him fired.
My husband is only 5 months away from being able to retire and there is no way that he can quit his job at this time
Father, in the name of Jesus, I now ask that You take this battle up for my husband and that You bring complete and total deliverance to him from this new foreman who has been unjustly harassing him.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I now Plead the Blood of Jesus directly against this foreman. I now Plead the Blood of Jesus against all of his verbal attacks against my husband.
If there are any demons influencing this foreman to harass my husband, I now Plead the Blood of Jesus against each and every demon that is operating behind the scenes causing this to happen. Demons, go now, in the name of Jesus Christ! I repeat, go now in the name of Jesus Christ! Amen
Lord, help my boss to shift his focus from my weaknesses to my strengths. Help him to see the qualities I possess that are beneficial to this company. Help me to work on my weaknesses in a way that my boss is able to see my progress and be confident in may ability.
Show me areas where my sregnths can be used more and ways that I can become better in my areas of weakness. May I be confident in you, knowing that I can do anything as long as you are here helping me
Lord, Help me to remain confident in my hard work and ability, regardless of the validation that I may or may not receive from others. Help me to trust that if I continue to work hard that you will cause those who are supposed to take notice to see the work that I have done. Let the opinion of others not be the source of my success, but instead trust that you see all I do and will cause me to succeed. Amen
Father, thank you for all the ways you've blessed me, specifically with this job that pays my bills and puts food on my table. Thank you that ALL work has significance because work is good. Help me bring you glory today, through my actions, my words, through the good work I do to bring order to my little corner of the world. Help me view my work as a blessing and not a curse. Give me grace and strength for the hardest aspects of my job. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.
