Prayer For Pain Relief
Thy name is my healing, Oh my God,
And remembrance of Thee is my remedy.
Nearness to Thee is my hope and love
For Thou art my companion.
Thy mercy to me is my healing
And my succor in both this world
And the world to come.
Thou, verily, are the All-Bountiful,
The All-Knowing, the All-Wise.
Beloved Lord, Almighty God!
Through the rays of the sun,
Through the waves of the air,
Through the all-pervading Life in space,
Purify and revivify me, and, I pray.
Heal my body, heart, and soul.
Amen.
Loving God, I pray that you will comfort me in my suffering, lend skill to the hands of my healers, and bless the means used for my cure. Give me such confidence in the power of your grace, that even when I am afraid, I may put my whole trust in you; through our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
Lord Jesus Christ, by your patience in suffering you hallowed earthly pain and gave us the example of obedience to your Father' will: Be near me in my time of weakness and pain; sustain me by your grace, that my strength and courage may not fail; heal me according to you will; and help me always to believe that what happens to me here is of little account if you hold me in eternal life, my Lord and my God. Amen.
In the darkness that encircles us all around, and shuts our vision, do Thou, Lord, rise like the sun, and dispel the darkness with Thy Light Divine. May all be freed from dangers. May all realize what is good. May all be motivated by noble thoughts. May all rejoice everywhere. May all be happy. May all be free from all diseases. May all realize what is good and healthy. May none be subject to misery. O Lord, lead us from the unreal to the Real. Lead us from darkness to Light. Lead us from death to Immortality! Peace, Peace be unto all!
O God. I know not what it will bring forth but make me ready for whatever it may be. If I am to stand up, help me to stand bravely. If I am to sit still, help me to sit quietly: If I am to lie low, help me to do it patiently. If I am to do nothing, help me to do it gallantly. Make these words more than words and give me the spirit of your love. Amen.
Father God, I've been struggling to forgive and let this go, but I know You can help me. Please give me a willingness to forgive the same way Jesus forgave those who murdered Him.
Change my heart, Lord, and help me to care more about obeying You than I do about holding onto anything that has been done to me. Help me to forgive completely and from my heart, Lord. Thank You. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
Dear God, the author of our faith. I thank you for your gracious love from which nothing can separate us. Whether it is life or death, victories or losses I know you are present in my life each day. Your love surpasses all things. You encourage us to be anxious about nothing. Through prayers, thanksgiving, and supplications we should let our petitions known unto you. I know that as long as I am in this world I will endure pain, suffering and even get persecuted for the things I believe. I thank you because you protect the ones you love, and your word is always genuine and unfailing. You said you would be with me in times of pain and suffering. When I pass through the fire the flames will not consume me, nor the waters overwhelm me as I walk through the rivers of life. My Lord and my Savior, my body, is overcome with pain, I am in distress. I call upon you to establish your word. Send your healing word to relieve me from this pain. Remove the pain and restore me back to my joy, vitality, peace and happiness so that I can testify to your wondrous deeds and mercy. Your will be done. I say this in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen
