Prayer For Pain To Go Away
God, hear my prayer,
And let my cry come to You.
Do not hide from me in the days of my distress
Turn to me and speedily answer my prayer.
Eternal God, source of healing
Out of my distress I call upon You.
Help me sense Your presence
At this difficult time.
Grant me patience when the hours are heavy;
In hurt or disappointment give me courage.
Keep me trustful in Your love.
Give me strength for today, and hope for tomorrow.
To Your loving hands I commit my spirit
When asleep and when awake.
You are with me; I shall not fear. Amen
Almighty Lord, if we offer You a
devoted mind and heart,
You will offer to us every blessing
on earth and in heaven.
You grant our deepest wishes.
You give food to the body and
peace to the soul.
You look upon us with
love of a mother for her children.
You created this beautiful earth all
around us. And in every plant and
animal, every tree and bird,
Your spirit dwells.
You have revealed yourself to me,
infusing my soul with the knowledge that You are the
source of all blessing.
And so I sing Your praises day and night. I who am
feeble, glorify You who are powerful. I who am nothing,
devote myself to You who are everything.
Lord send down Your angels, Lord and may I recognize Your hand upon Your every gift and blessing. Give me something to do that I may not feel useless, yet teach me also to rest knowing all will be well after the long dark night.
You are my Rock and my Provider, Savior and Defender, Friend and Lover who will never ever let me down. You will lead me through this day. You will fill my every hour with peace, my every moment with thoughts of Your
love.
I cannot bear the burdens of tomorrow but I will offer You all that I have today. Today is Yours, O God. This moment is Yours. Embrace me and take my hand. I am in Your heart. I am safe. I am loved. Amen
God of all comfort, our very present help in trouble, be near to me. Look on me with the eyes of your mercy; comfort me with a sense of your presence; preserve me from the enemy; and give me patience in my affliction. Restore me to health, and lead me to your eternal glory; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
When evil darkens our world, give us light. When despair numbs our souls, give us hope. When we stumble and fall, lift us up. When doubts assail us, give us faith. When nothing seems sure, give us trust. When ideals fade, give us vision. When we lose our way, be our guide! That we may find serenity in Your presence, and purpose in doing Your will.
Father God, in Jesus' name, thank You that Your strength and grace are available to me right now. Father, fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Fill me with Your grace. Make Your strength perfect in my weakness, Father. I know that I'm very weak in and of myselfbut Your Spirit, who raised Christ from the dead, dwells in me. So raise me up, Lord. Take my weakness away and fill me with Your strength. Order my steps today in Your Word. Help me to stay within Your holy flow today, Lord, and make it easy. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy. Grant that I may seek not so much to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen.
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul. He leads me in right paths for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me. Your rod and staff support me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Amen.
