Prayer For Our Sons
Thank You, Father, that You are giving our sons more and more GRACE to meet ALL eviltendencies FULLY in their lives. They are subject to You. They stand firm against the devil andresist him; therefore, he is fleeing from them. They are coming close to You; and therefore, Youare coming close to them. They are humbling themselves, feeling very insignificant in Yourpresence, and You are exalting them and making their lives significant. (James 4:6-8a, 10).
Heavenly Father, we place our son in your hands. Please guide him as you have guided him and
watched over him. Send your Holy Spirit to whisper to him and remind him of your presence
constantly. Our trust and faith are with you.
I pray that our son will chase after God with his whole heart. I pray for provision of deep
Christian friendships.

Father, I know you have brought our son to this place and time. I am trusting you to supply our
financial need so that he can be surrounded by your people and your spirit at Samford. Bless
and protect our child, this university, and help us to be able to provide for him through your
riches.
Amen
God, please continue to guide our son in your will for him life. Please protect him from
Satan and protect him from Satan's schemes and in those areas of his life where he would like to see him fall. Help him to believe in himself and have confidence in his abilities. Do not let him fear the unknown or the hard work that college requires. Thank you for his life. We love him so much. Amen
Oh Lord, thank You for family and thank You for our grown sons who have now departed the family home. But Lord just as Job would rise up early in the morning to offer burnt offerings for his children, I pray this prayer of offering for our sons and that You will sanctify them. If my sons have sinned and caused offense in their hearts, Lord please grant mercy and forgiveness in Jesus's name we pray. Amen.
Heavenly Father, I pray that You will create in my son/sons a clean heart and that you will renew a right spirit within him/them. Father I ask that You cast them not away from your presence and do not take Your Holy Spirit away from him/them. Lord, I ask that You restore unto (Name/Names of sons) the joy of Your Salvation and uphold him/them by your generous Spirit. Amen.

whence the light of the day doth spring!
O Light,
which dost lighten every man that cometh into the world!
O thou Wisdom of the eternal Father,
Enlighten my mind,
that I may see only those things that please thee,
and may be blinded to all other things.
Grant that I may walk in thy ways,
and that nothing else may be light and pleasant.
Father,
May everything we do
begin with your inspiration
and continue with your saving help.
Let our work always find its origin in you
and through you reach completion.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever. Amen
