Prayer For Our Parents
Lord Jesus,
As parents we come to you as little children ourselves, with hearts eager to please, needing direction, ready to trust Your leading. Many of us are experiencing a new normal, and we are fearful ourselves, struggling to get by. Equip us for the challenge of parenthood, especially in difficult times. Help us deal with stress calmly and make wise choices each day. Bless the ones You place in our care that they might grow up to be like You. Amen
Lord, I surrender to you my family. Lord Jesus, I pray for my parents. Though you blessed them abundantly, today they are in need of your help. Give my parents joy and strength. Fill them with your strengthening presence. Lord, give them real thirst and hunger for the Holy Spirit and for the Word of God. Give them health in spirit, soul and body.
Even though as parents they may have failed to fulfil their duites, Lord, set them free from sadness and sorrow, regrets and sense of guilt. Jesus fill them with your Holy Spirit. Thank you Jesus. Amen
Dear God,
Bless my parents. Grace them with a life of ease, peace of mind, and absence of worry. Show these deserving folks that happiness is theirs for the taking. Let them feel the love that surrounds them and know appreciation for the little things that matter.

Lord, help my parent flourishlike the palm tree. . .bearing fruit in their old agewith an eternal perspective. May they continue to be a model and inspiration to many. Give my parents joy and strength. Fill them with your strengthening presence. Lord,
give them real thirst and hunger for the Holy Spirit and for the Word of God. Give them health in spirit, soul and body.
Lord, I ask you that you protect my parents from the evil one. Fill them with your Holy Spirit. May they be filled with joy and peace. Lord, help them to live holy and blameless before You, for as long as You allow.

Dear God,
Thank you for letting us live another day. May you forgive us from all our sins and shower us with blessings even more.
I ask for the gift of good health and long life of my parents and relatives. So that I could give back all what I owe to them. Please enlighten their hearts, minds and souls that the gift of long life is more important than anything in this world.
And I pray that you will guide us on our way to Heaven with you. Amen.
Father, I thank you for Jesus, who makes possible our God-honoring transition from this world to everlasting glory. As I pray these things for my parent, I pray them for myself as well. I pray we all will someday hear Your well done. Amen!
O Almighty God, you gave us the commandment to honour our father and mother. In your loving kindness hear my prayer for my parents. Give them long lives and keep them well in body and spirit. Bless their labours; keep them always in your care. Bless them generously for their loving care for me. Grant that, through your grace, I may always be their support and comfort, and that, after our life together on earth, we may experience the joy together praising you forever.
Heavenly Father, Pour forth your Holy Spirit to inspire me with these words from Holy Scripture. Stir in my soul the desire to renew my faith and deepen my relationship with your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ so that I might truly believe in and live the Good News. Open my heart to hear the Gospel and grant me the confidence to proclaim the Good News to others. Pour out your Spirit, so that I might be strengthened to go forth and witness to the Gospel in my everyday life through my words and actions.
