Your Son, Jesus, through their faith, is actually dwellingsettling down, abiding and making His permanent homein their hearts! We declare that theyare being rooted deep in love and founded securely on love, that they may have the power and bestrong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints the EXPERIENCE of that love; what is thebreadth, length, height and depth of it. They are really coming to knowpractically, throughEXPERIENCE for THEMSELVESTHE LOVE OF CHRISTwhich far surpasses mereknowledge without experience. They are being filled through all their being unto ALL Yourfullness. They have the richest measure of Your Divine Presence, and have become whollyFILLED and FLOODED with You.
Lord, source of eternal life and truth, give to Your shepherd, the Pope, a spirit of courage and right judgement, a spirit of knowledge and love.
By governing with fidelity those entrusted to his care may he, as successor to the apostle Peter and vicar of Christ, build Your church into a sacrament of unity, love, and peace for all the world.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
We fly to your protection,
O Holy Mother of God;
Do not despise our petitions
in our necessities,
but deliver us always
from every danger,
O Glorious and Blessed Virgin.
We pray that Christians, followers of other religions, and all people of goodwill may promote peace and justice in the world.
We pray that our personal relationship with Jesus Christ be nourished by the Word of God and a life of prayer.
Beloved Mother, help us realize that we are all members of one great family and to recognize the bond that unites us, so that, in a spirit of fraternity and solidarity, we can help to alleviate countless situations of poverty and need. Make us strong in faith, persevering in service, constant in prayer.
Mary, Consolation of the afflicted, embrace all your children in distress and pray that God will stretch out his all-powerful hand and free us from this terrible pandemic, so that life can serenely resume its normal course.
To you, who shine on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope, do we entrust ourselves, O Clement, O Loving, O Sweet Virgin Mary. Amen.

We give thanks for the many gifts of the new Shepherd of our church.
May he please you in his holiness and guide his flock with love and watchful care, especially for the sick, the poor and the vulnerable.
We greet him joyfully and pledge our love and support for him.
With him, we accept the invitation to spread the Good News of the Gospel in word and action.
We offer our prayer through our Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
