Dear God,
You crossed every border between divinity and
humanity to make your home with us. Bless my husband
who have travelled to foreign lands with faith in their heart leaving their
families behind as they break through the barriers of people, cultures, and languages
to escape oppression and poverty.
There are
many things going on that are beyond us even with our collective power. We come
to thee in supplication and heartfelt pleadings as we are mindful of the ordeals
of others.
I pray that he would hear the Lord's voice behind him, saying, This is the way; walk in it; and that he
would obey and never turn to the right or to the left;
That he would be filled with wisdom from above, which is first pure, then peaceable, undefiled,
willing to yield, and full of mercy and good fruit;
That he would not even be interested in any solution that is unholy;
That the Holy Spirit would highlight wise solutions in your husband's mind, making them
extremely attractive to him;
Heavenly Father: we pray to You for those on the perilous ocean that You will embrace them with your mighty protection and grant them success in all their rightful undertakings. Grant them in all hours of need to see that they have a God who remembers them, and grant them grace in the hour of danger to commit their souls into Your hands. 0 Lord Jesus Christ, Who can rebuke the storm and bring it to silence, and lay the roaring waves to rest, show them who call to You out of the deep that You hear their prayer and will save them. And finally bring us all to the only safe port. Amen.
Lord Jesus, we put ourselves at the foot of your Holy Cross with Mama Mary as we acknowledge that we are nothing without you and by your death, you have redeemed the world. We believe in faith that "nothing is impossible with you." We lift up to you our OFW, whom we consider as martyrs of and for their families. Lord words can not describe and express what we are sacrificing in order to have a better chance in life. Lord redeem us of all our pains, trials and persecutions as we are working in a foreign land for people that are complete strangers to us. Shield us with your most precious blood that flows from your Sacred Heart.
Protect us from any harm and abuses that we may face as we continue our journey in life. We beg for your mercy and divine love for we are far away from our family, loved ones and friends. We miss our home that is causing heartaches , sadness and loneliness that we are at a lost on what to do. Grant us the power and strength from the Holy Spirit to succeed and be blessed in this chapter and mission in our life Amen
Lord,I pray that You would protect (husband's name) from any accidents, diseases, dangers, or evil influences. Keep him safe, especially in cars and planes. Hide him from violence and the plans of evil people.
Wherever he walks, secure his steps. Keep him on Your path so hat his feet don't slip (Psalm 17:5). If his foot does slip, hold him up by Your mercy (Psalm 94:18). Give him the wisdom and discretion that will help him walk safely and not fall into danger (Proverbs 3:21-23).
Be his fortress, strength, shield, and stronghold (Psalm 18:22). Make him to dwell in the shadow of Your wings (Ps. 91:1-2). Be his rock, salvation and defense, so that he will not be moved or shaken (Ps. 62:6).
I pray that even though bad things may be happening all around him, they will not come near him (Ps.91:7). Save him from any plans of the enemy that seek to destroy his coming in from this forth and even forevermore (Ps.121:8).
I love You Lord and I love my husband. Thank You for Your answers along the way. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.
Father, when his heart is burdened and his spirit weary, the world seems dark all around, remind him that You are his shield, his deliverer, his rock. Remind him that You are his firm foundation, cornerstone and stronghold. (2Sam.22:1-4) Protect him from any attacks the enemy plans to make on his mind, diverting the fiery darts that get sent his way. You will not fail him, for You will not reject your people; You will never forsake Your inheritance. (Ps. 94:14) In Jesus' precious name. Amen.
Lord, I know that Your arm is not too short that You cannot save, (Is.58:1) so preserve the life of my husband so that he might grow old to watch his children's children grow. I entrust him to You, fully convinced that You are able to protect him this day and every day of his life. Amen
