Prayer For Obsessive Thinking

O Lady of Mental Peace,
Mother of Tranquility
and Mother of Hope,
look upon tuffsmurf in this time
of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God's Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal tuffsmurf. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into tuffsmurf's body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Dear Lord,
I admit that I am a sinner. I have done many things that don't please you. I have lived my life for
myself. I am sorry and I repent. I ask you to forgive me. I believe that you died on the cross for
me, to save me. You did what I could not do for myself. I come to you now and ask you to take
control of my life, I give it to you. Help me to live every day in a way that pleases you. I love you,
Lord, and I thank you that I will spend all eternity with you.
Amen.

Dear Lord,
My fear has trapped and consumed me. But I am tired of living under the weight of my fears.
These verses reassure me of your presence and confirm that you are able to deliver me from my
trouble. Please give me your love and your power to replace these fears. Your perfect love casts
out my fear. I thank you for promising to give me the peace that only you can give. I receive that
peace now as I ask you to still my troubled heart. Because you are with me, I don't have to be
afraid.
Amen.

lmighty God, who pours out the spirit of grace and of supplication to all who ask for it; Deliver me, when I draw near to you, from coldness of heart and wanderings of mind, so that with steadfast thoughts and kindled affections, I may worship You in spirit and in truth; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; the courage to change the things I can; and the wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will;

That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next.

Amen.

Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray the Lord my soul to keep
If I should die before I wake
I pray the Lord my soul to take.
