Prayer For Obsessive Thoughts
Lord, I pray that this bondage which steals away my happiness and peace of mind be shattered right now. Let Your power remove these evil thoughts and establish peace in my heart.Father, I commit my thoughts into Your mighty hands. I thank You for relieving me from this obsession.I pray all this in Jesus name.
Loving Lord Jesus, The Bible says that You came into this world to set free, those who are caught in all kinds of bondages and captivity. Father, You know my present situation and my helplessness, the thing that is continuously haunting my mind. The thing dominates my heart and curbs my freedom and joy. Father, all authority in heaven and on earth is given You and so Lord, You have all the power to set me free from these chains of thoughts that obsess my mind. You want Your children to live a victorious life on this earth.
Remember, O gracious Virgin Mary,
that never has it been known that anyone
who had fled to you for protection, implored
your help or sought your intercession was
left unaided. Inspired by this confidence
we fly to you O Virgin of virgins, our Mother.
To you we come, before you we stand, sinful
and sorrowful, O Mother of the Word Incarnate
despise NOT our petitions, but in your mercy
hear and answer us!

May each soul in this place have been
touched through the songs and the preaching, and may each take to heart
the Word that came forth.
We pray that those seeking an answer received it, and that those
who needed a special touch were granted that touch. Bless each of us
and keep us safe until we are able to gather together again.

To hear and heed your holy word;
Fill every heart that longs for you
With your mysterious presence, Lord.

Dear Lord,
You know the temptations that I am facing today. But your Word promises that I will not be
tempted beyond what I can bear. I ask for your strength to stand up under the temptation
whenever I encounter it. Your Word also tells me you will provide a way out of the temptation.
Please, Lord, give me the wisdom to walk away when I am tempted, and the clarity to see the way
out that you will provide. Thank you, God, that you are a faithful deliverer and that I can count on
your help in my time of need.

Dear Lord,
I need you now because I am full of stress and anxiety. Reading your Word brings comfort, as I
ask you to come and take my heavy burdens. I take each burden, one by one, and lay them at
your feet. Please carry them for me so that I don't have to. Replace them with your humble and
gentle yoke so that I will find rest for my soul today. I receive your gift of peace of mind and
heart. Thank you that I can lie down tonight in peace and sleep. I know that you, Lord, will keep
me safe. I am not afraid because you are always with me. Please keep me daily, Lord, in your
perfect peace.
