Prayer For Obedience For Children

We decree and declare that they are quick to obey the direction and the voice of the Holy Spirit in Jesus Name!

Yes, we decree and declare that the moment He prompts them, they will follow His guidance.

Whatever that may be Lord, they will do it. They are Your child and they wholly trust You.

Praise You that with Your help, they are not resisting nor hesitating from following Your instructions!

Thank You that they are stepping out in faith as Your precious Holy Spirit leads them.

Father, they desire to be fully obedient to Your Spirit.

Please forgive them for ever holding up or resisting the leading of the Holy Spirit because they chose not to obey Him.

The last thing they want to do is hinder You Lord. They do not want to hurt You nor oppose the direction of the Spirit.

No, they do not want to upset or grieve Your Holy Spirit. They want to be one of those who is easy to instruct and to guide.

Together in agreement we ask You in Jesus Name to help them to be quick to obey Him when He asks them to do or not do something.

Right here and now, they are making a solid decision to be fiercely obedient to You.

Father, I want to thank You for Jesus. I thank You that You didn't just tell us to obey You and then not show us how to do it. Lord, I thank You that Jesus was obedient to the point of death. Lord, I thank You for His great love for us and that He was willing to take upon Himself human flesh. Lord, I just thank You for the Savior. Lord, I just love You. O God, I thank You for His obedience.

Lord, I know that You've said if Your people will pray, You'll hear us. God, it's only through prayer that You open our eyes so that we can see our needs and see how we can change and what areas we need to obey in. So Lord, I pray that as I've asked You over and over, God, for revival, that You would bring women to their knees calling out to You on behalf of their families.

Lord,

I feel like I couldn't be any closer to You than to be in Your actual presence in Heaven! I feel so alive in Your Word! I have read it and I have obeyed it and I am so full of joy that it is bursting out of me! It is true that when I have my focus on Jesus I see clearly Your intentions for me. You are an amazing God and I praise You for the miracles and blessings You've given me. You are my Beloved! I love You! Amen

Father,
Until I had children I never thought of life from Your perspective with my obedience. I now understand and I am so sorry for all of the times I have not listened to You. When my children disobey me, it brings me back to Your throne as I feel regret for the times I should have obeyed You. It has also given me a heart of major forgiveness to my kids. I know my faults and neither I nor my kids are more important to You. We are all Your children. Forgive me when I am not patient with my kids, for I know how patient You have been with me. You amaze me daily, Father! I love my children and I thank You for showing me another valuable lesson in obedience from my eyes as a father/mother. I love You, Lord! Amen

Jehovah-Raah, I know that Satan deliberately tempts me to disobey Your Word and Your calling upon my life. But, once we obey the deceiver, we lose out on your magnificent blessings. Obeying him who deceives, will only bring sorrow into our lives, oh God. Give me the strength to withstand all these temptations, for I know the blessings of you Lord makes rich and you add no sorrow with it.

ord, I thank You for the example of the Lord Jesus Christ Who learnt obedience through the things that He suffered. I too want to learn to be obedient and to be responsive to Your voice. And Lord, although I do not pray for sufferings in my life, I do ask that like my Saviour, I may learn obedience even if it means that like Jesus, I too have to go through suffering.

Give me ears that are open to Your voice.

Give me eyes that are ready to see the spiritual lessons that You desire to teach me.

Give me a heart that is receptive to Your Word of truth.

And give me the grace to pray, "Your will not mine be done." In Jesus' name I pray,

Amen.
