Prayer For Nursing Board Exam Takers
Lord,
In Galatians 5:13 you tell us to serve one another humbly in love. It's not even a question that caring for others can be tough. Even more so for those who have chosen to become nurses.
Grow and water their servant hearts. Take their burdens. Bless them as they bless others. Remind them they don't have to face the day's challenges without You. You've put them on this path. You're not going to make them walk it alone.
Dear God,
We come before you seeking guidance. We acknowledge that wisdom and power are yours; that you give wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. You know what lies in darkness and light dwells with You. Please grant ____ your wisdom and knowledge in this situation. Please bring to light the things that should be known and guide ____ to the right next step. We ask for your peace as they wait for your leading and also the courage to take the next step when it is time for ____ to move forward.

Lord, I ask that You would give me and each of my nursing colleagues the patience, wisdom and the grace to deal with the people with whom we will come in contact today and an understanding of how to deal with the varied ailments and illness that they are facing. Give each of us a gentle attitude and the ability to allay unfounded fears, calm troubled hearts and support those that are weary and afraid.
Help us all to demonstrate a genuine care for our patients and may our actions and attitudes give the reassurance and comfort that so many seek. Help us to understand the fears that so often flood the minds of the patient who come under our particular charge, and I pray that You would give me an opportunity to share forth Your love, both by my words and in my actions. In Jesus' name I pray,

Father God, I thank You that You have brought me into this great profession of nursing and I pray that You would be with me today and with all my nursing colleagues. Give each one of us the strength and gentleness we need to deal with the many and varied duties we will be called upon to face today.
Dear God, we pray to you today
To heal our patients come what may bless my work and all that I do that in my heart your love will be true. I pray I do my part to lift each downcast spirit, and to soothe each heavy heart. May my touch being reassurance, may my voice be soothing too. May my gentle care remind them of the love they have in you.
May I be a Nurse, Lord,
With gentle, healing hands.
Who always speaks with kindness,
Who cares and understands.
And while I'm serving others
As you would have me do,
Please help me to remember
That I'm truly serving You.
You have watched me
As I worked hard to study for this exam
Although I dont feel very confident
And that I dont know if I am prepared
I truly believe that you would give me what I deserve
I deserve to pass this exam,God.
I am happy that today you are with me
For with you I will win this battle
And as I close my eyes and feel your presence
In this examination room
You put confidence to my heart

Dear God,
Today I will take my examination
which is so important to me
Though I am nervous. I'm not afraid
Because I know that as I write my answers
It is your hands that work
And now, as I take this examination
Please enlighten my mind
to able to answer correctly
and to recall everything that I have studied.

it is according to your will.
