Prayer For My Son Going Into Surgery
May my son listen to the way of wisdom and be led in the paths of uprightness (Proverbs ?4:11).
Create in my son a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within him (Psalm 51:10).
May my son be strong and courageous and not fear or be in dread, for it is You, Lord, our God, who goes with him. You will never leave him or forsake him (Deuteronomy 31:6).
Lord, may my son believe in You so that he may have eternal life. I'm thankful, Jesus, that You made a way for him to live with You for eternity through Your sacrifice. May my son accept, and cling to, this free gift for it's more important than anything else in life!

I pray over my child and ask that you protect them during surgery and that everything would be successfully accomplished. Give the surgeon the skilled hands and eyes to operate and I ask that you give guidance and wisdom over every person in the operating room.
Hold my child's hand tightly while your peace floats warmly over them as they fall asleep. Please give the surgeon clear, concise wisdom and reveal the things that they need to see to perform the surgery. I pray that your hands would be upon the surgeon's hands, guiding them through every step.
We ask for your divine blessing on the hands of the surgeons as they operate and for your peace to encircle our precious one. Lord, may they feel safe, protected and cared for today.
Lord, as (she/he) is about to go into surgery we entrust(she/he) into your care. We pray for your covering and protection as they receive help from another of your children.
