Prayer For My Newborn Son
God, help me to make the right decisions that will give this baby total health, both physical and emotional health. Help me to react with patience and peace. Help me to love this child unconditionally. Lord, also embolden me with your strength and love to embark on being this child's advocate. Amen.
God, the first days, even months of a baby's life are very precarious. I pray for peace and health in these days. May this child sleep peacefully and safely with no harm to their life. Everything can be a bit scary for a little baby is so helpless. Help me make the right decisions and find your peace in all of this, but most importantly protect my baby. Thank you God! Amen.
God, I ask that You protect this little life. Grow this baby into the person that reflects Your light and love in the world. I know this child is important, that this child is destined to do great things in Your name. I pray strong protection over this baby's life. Amen.
Heavenly Father, I thank You for watching over my child! I know that You stand beside my newborn baby as a protective shield. The sun will not harm my child by day, nor will the moon at night. I thank You for the divine protection over my newborn child's life. I know that You can protect my child in ways that I can't. I know that You will walk with my child for the rest of their days and be their ultimate guide. Amen.
Righteous God, I thank You for this newborn baby. I pray for great things in this infant's life because You know the plans that You have for this child, plans to prosper and not to harm this child. I thank You because I know that the plans that You have made are to give my child hope and a future. I pray that my child will do great things because it is part of Your will to do so. Amen.
Lord, I need that kind of wisdom to know when to speak to my son and when to be silent. Do not let any unwholesome talk, lecturing, judging, or accusing come of my mouth, but only what is helpful for building my son up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen (Eph. 4:29). Let me also be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for my anger doesn't bring about the righteous life that God desires
Lord, I pray that my son will develop an eternal perspective and purpose, not an earthly one. Help him to see lifeand every challengethrough Your eyes, eager and unafraid to share with others the good news of Jesus wherever he goes. I pray that they will set his minds on things above, not just what's going on here, and that he will be rooted and grounded in Your love. I pray that he will come to understand the extent of Your own love for himthat it surpasses all the head knowledge they will acquire in school. I pray he will be filled up with You from morning 'til night.
Lord, please give me the wisdom to make decisions according to your will. Send me your vision in this situation and make it plain that I will see it. And please show me how to teach my child to make wise decisions so that he/she may also choose the path that is pleasing to you.
