Prayer For My Mom In Heaven
I loved her as mom,
You love her like a child.
I miss her every day, O Lord
You're with her now, in heavens hold.
I grieve the loss of the one I loved,
You dance for joy as your girl comes home.
I feel the sadness of her passing,
You celebrate her as your own.
I sometimes glimpse your eternal plans
You see everything, so clearly.
So Father God come oh so close
As I miss my mother dearly.
Come surround her with your arms of healing, lift her heart to find moments of joy in every day and keep hope burning alive in her soul. Cover her as she sleeps with the encircling power of Christ. Pour into her the oil of His healing grace, and clothe her with her inheritance as a child of God. She is so precious to us, yet even more so to you, her Abba Father. Lord, we look to you for her restoration. In the powerful name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
Lord Jesus, my Savior, you are the firstborn from the dead. After your death on the cross, you rose from the dead and left your tomb. As I grieve the loss of my mother, thank you for the hope and assurance that comes from your resurrection. You conquered the grave and ascended into heaven where you are interceding for your people. I thank you that my mother is in your presence now and that one day we will be reunited. May the hope of eternity bring comfort to all who mourn the loss of my mother. In your mighty name, Amen.
O Lord my God, I thank you that you are the Lord of life. The life of my mother was a gift from you. She received love as your child and I am grateful that she poured out that love to me. I look forward to the day when Jesus returns to bring the resurrection of the dead. I await an eternity spent in your presence with my mother and all your people. I look with hope to a future with no sin, pain or death. As my mother encounters you face to face, I ask that you would bring me comfort. Amen.
Dear Father, we approach your throne on behalf of the mothers whom you have entrusted with the care of your most precious little ones. We thank you for creating mom with a unique combination of gifts and talents. We thank you for the sacrifice of self each mom gives for her children. For the late nights spent rocking a colicky infant. For the hands calloused from washing, wiping, scrubbing, mixing, backing, stirring, hugging, patting, disciplining, holding, writing, erasing, painting, and pouring.
Dear Lord, relying on your promises to us, I turn to you in trust that my mother is with you and that she is enjoying your loving embrace. You alone know how she loved the best she could and how she faithfully endured the struggles that she faced. You know the graces you gave her and you know the grace she was for me and for so many. For all the ways she truly loved the way you loved her, please reward her, Lord. May she enjoy the communion of all her family and friends who are with you.

God, I am all-alone, my mother had been ill and now she has died and I am all alone in the world and I am so frightened and so lonely. God, I don't know what to do and I have no one to turn to. Please help me I pray.
Please God, I am all alone in the world and come to You to ask You to care for me and to provide for me. Help me, please, to face the future without my dear mother, who was always there for me.
You have promised that You will never leave us alone, You said, "I will not leave you as orphans." And that is what I am, an orphan and all alone.
But I will put my trust in You. I know that You were the God my mother trusted in and I know I neglected to trust You as she should have wished, to trust You as my Saviour. So Lord, I put my life in Your hands today and ask You to make Yourself known to me in the way that my mother knew You.
Thank You that You really do bring peace when sadness fills my heart. Please help me to fix my thoughts on You I pray. I ask this in Jesus' name,
