Prayer For My Mom Poem

Because I feel that, in the Heavens above,

The angels, whispering to one another,

Can find, among their burning terms of love,

None so devotional as that of Mother,

Therefore by that dear name I long have called you

You who are more than mother unto me,

And fill my heart of hearts, where Death installed you

In setting my Virginia's spirit free.

Heavenly Father,

Thank you so much for my mother and her devotion to our family and me.

Thank you, Lord, that in your infinite design and plan for my life, you chose her for me.

Forgive me when I have failed to see her true value in my life. I have taken her presence for granted.

I am sorry for undermining her significance and for not holding her up to the esteemed level she deserved.

I fully acknowledge the honor of motherhood.

I thanked God for the caring
you've shown me through the years,
for the closeness we've enjoyed
in time of laughter and of tears.

And so, I thank you from the heart
for all you've done for me
and I bless the Lord for giving me
the best mother there could be!

We just want to thank the Lord
For a Mother such as you,
You were there throughout the years
Whatever we went through
And we just want to say that we
Love you so very much
And we're praying that the Lord
Will shower you in love.

May you know the love of God,
More and more each day
And know how much He values you
In every little way
Today, we want to let you know,
We appreciate what you do
And we want you to know that we
Are thinking now of you.

May the warm winds of heaven / blow softly upon your house. / May the Great Spirit / bless all who enter there. / May your moccasins / make happy tracks / in many snows, / and may the rainbow / always touch your shoulder.

Jesus, my Sustainer, I thank you for the unique gifts and abilities that you gave my mother. Throughout her life, she reflected your image in the love that she gave to others. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with me always. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.

Dear Lord, today I turn to you to give you thanks for my mother. With your own gift of life, she bore me in her womb and gave me life. She tenderly, patiently cared for me and taught me to walk and talk. She read to me and made me laugh. No one delighted in my successes more; no one could comfort me better in my failures. I am so grateful for how she mothered me and mentored me, and even disciplined me.
