Prayer For My Job
Lord, we are living in hard times and high unemployment that causes so many to be out of work, and has such a negative influence on the lives of individuals as well as communities in general, and oh Lord, if it were not for the hope that is in Christ Jesus, life would indeed be unbearable. But thanks be to God, Who has given us the victory in Jesus Christ our Lord. Use me I pray, to help and encourage those that I know and to support others as I lift my voice in prayer to You. Hearken to this prayer and send help to those in need, I pray. In Jesus' name, Amen
Lord, be with those that have no jobs, and provide for all their needs, but also comfort and calm those that are living each day in fear that their employment will be terminated, as work-loads increase, while at the same time others are being laid-off.
Lord, You command blessings upon me in my barns and in all that I put my hands to do, and You will bless me in the land which You give me. Right now, I proclaim that I will receive many job opportunities that will allow me to perform at my best, remembering You in all that I do.
Heavenly father, I ask that you provide a job suited for my needs this day. Lead me to a job that will accommodate me without hesitation. You are the rock on which I stand. I ask that You provide me with a job that is both stable and without shaky grounds.
Lord God, I humble myself before You while I seek Your face. Right now I am concerned about my job whether I will be terminated or laid off. However, because of my confidence in You, I am able to excel in my job even when the future is uncertain. Faith in You, God, trumps my fear in this situation. I yield to Your will for my life and I trust You with my career. For I, the Lord Your God will hold your right hand saying to you Fear not, for I will help you.' I can do nothing without your help. Thank You for helping me and giving me peace. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
Lord, I thank You so much for the job that You have provided. I know that there are many, many people who are not so fortunate as I, and I am so grateful that you have kept me in my position. I pray that You will continue to keep me employed so that I may provide for my precious family, and Lord, I pray that You would keep us all safe from harm and continue to provide for all our needs.
Father, I come before you thankful that you have made work a part of life and given me the opportunity to glorify you in my work. Thank you that I can work hard and go to bed tired each day. Thank you for the good days and the difficult ones, and for the gifts you have given me to help this world be a better place through my work.
Dear God, You know my needs. You know my desire for a job, for work I enjoy doing, for the next step in my career to present itself. I pray that you would guide me as I continue on this job hunting journey. May I focus first on your will for my life, putting your desires and your plan above my own wishes and wants. Open doors to new opportunities that you desire for me, and equip me with the skills, knowledge, and wisdom I need to take steps forward in this process. Amen
