Prayer For Job Opportunity
Lord, you are my vision. Breathe your life into me today as I search for anew horizon. I face challenges in getting an interview, but I turn to you as my refuge. You are my rock and my truth, so I trust that you will guide me as I find a new job.
O loving Father, I know that I am not alone. Throughout my days and nights, you always watch over me. I feel your love encircling my life. As I work to find a new job opportunity, I pray that you will grant me wisdom. There are many paths ahead of me, and I cannot decide which one to turn to. Help me to find a position where I can do good in the world and serve others. Still my mind so that I can clearly see which positions are the best. Guard my heart so that I may make the right decision. Most of all, give me courage so that I may choose a new path without fear in the knowledge that you are always there to guide me. Amen.
Dear Lord, thank you for your presence and guidance in my life. I know that you walk with me every day and always hear my prayers. I ask that you guide my decisions as I look for a new job opportunity. Help to guide my mind so that I can develop the skills I have and learn new ones. O Lord, I place my humble needs at your feet. Please guide me as I begin my search for work. My funds are low, and I desperately need to find a job offer. Help me to find a position that I can do well and that is rewarding to me. Guide me as I start interviewing for new positions and help me to find the right words. Please help me to be grateful and humble for all that you have given me. I know that I am already blessed beyond measure, so I pray that I will never forget that fact.
Father, I lay before you my hopes for a new job opportunity. I give you all of my efforts and work that I have done so far. As I submit this application, I pray that you bless it and guide me toward the right job. May your truth and light bring wisdom to me and to the people who must decide whether to hire me or not. In you, I restore my spirit and find refuge. I will rest my heart in you as I wait for the result. Thank you for whatever happens. O Heavenly Father, you are the great author of my life. You have given me a wonderful family, my education and all of my blessings. Over my lifetime, you have guided me and shaped me into who I am. I dedicate the next chapter of my life to you and ask for your guidance as I begin it. I pray that you will open up new opportunities and job offers for me. Help me to expand my mind and heart as I work to find success in the world. When I am met with a closed door, I pray that you will help me to find a window instead. Help me to feel hopeful and confident as I begin job interviews at new workplaces. Through it all, I will carry your truth, love and hope with me. May everyone around me feel your glory through my words and actions. Amen.
Heavenly father, I ask that you provide a job suited for my needs this day. Lead me to a job that will accommodate me without hesitation. You are the rock on which I stand. I ask that You provide me with a job that is both stable and without shaky grounds.
I ask that my talents, skills, abilities and education will be put into practical use. That way, I can have sufficient to pay my bills, and place bread on my table for myself and my family. May I also be able to give back what is due to You, Father.
Lord, You command blessings upon me in my barns and in all that I put my hands to do, and You will bless me in the land which You give me.
Right now, I proclaim that I will receive many job opportunities that will allow me to perform at my best, remembering You in all that I do.
I speak that doors will be opened to me in every direction I turn, because Your light shines upon me.
I decree and declare that unemployment is of the past and will be no more. In Jesus's name I pray, Amen!
Dear God,
You know my needs. You know my desire for a job, for work I enjoy doing, for the next step in my career to present itself. I pray that you would guide me as I continue on this job hunting journey. May I focus first on your will for my life, putting your desires and your plan above my own wishes and wants. Open doors to new opportunities that you desire for me, and equip me with the skills, knowledge, and wisdom I need to take steps forward in this process. As I craft my resume, write cover letters, submit my applications, connect with new companies and potential employers, and go on interviews, give me the words to speak and the courage to share who I am and what I can do. Give me confidence that can only come from you, and give me humility too. I trust you, Lord-- my life is in your hands. Your will be done. Thank you for being near to me every step of the way and thank you for always providing for my every need. May this all be for your glory.
